We were in the school's hall the next day where a mole mascot was dancing around.

I guess it was some sort of thing they do.
The teacher/coach wanted to give some announcements.
Turns out there was a Spring Fling or a dance.
I was sitting next to Claire Nuñez and Mary Wang who I got along with and Darci.
"It's gonna be you."
"No, it's not."
"It is every year."
"And every year, I don't care."
It was kind of weird seeing two girls talking about dances.
"Darci Scott!"
I was happy I guess, even though i hated dances.
I'd rather stay in bed.
"Mary Wang!"
I was happy for Mary, she deserved it.
"Steve Palchuck!"
He seemed to be a bully so he probably would threat people.
"Eli Pepperjack!"
There was booing, no one liked Pepperjack I guess.
I put my hand on face of boredom.
"Jim Lake JR!"
I was surprised.
I looked the up from where I was walking to see Toby and a skinny boy who seemed to be Jim Lake JR.
"Jim Lake for Springking!"
I let out a giggle and walked out.
That Toby guy seemed funny, all day I thought about him.
