The one with the results

Thursday 22nd October 1998

23:07pm St Mungo's hospital

Hugo and Rose 5 months old

I look down at my two babies asleep in my arms. Remus and Tonks went home about an hour ago saying they needed to put Teddy to bed.

Everyone else are just talking among each other. Ron is behind me holding me to his chest as we are still waiting for the results from the test.

Just as I am about to close my eyes there is a knock on the Hospital door and everyone goes quiet as the Healer walks in carrying a clipboard under her left arm. The Healer opens the door and comes in.

"So I just got the test results back from the bone marrow biopsy," The Healer says trailing off.

"What is it? Is it good news?" Everyone asks at once.

"The results say that Mrs Weasley you..." The Healer says. "I really hate this part and I am so sorry to tell you that Mrs Weasley your bone marrow biopsy showed up that you had acute lymphoblastic leukaemia cancer cells in your blood I am so sorry but Mrs Weasley you have ALL cancer and need to start treatment as soon as possible, you are vary lucky that we found out when we did I'll leave you and your family alone so you can take in the information" With that the Healer left the room leaving us all in shock.

Tears start to fall down my face just as my Husband's hold on me tightens hugging me closer to him as he starts to cry into my neck as well.

"Dear do you want us to leave and come back tomorrow?" I hear my mum ask me I look up and shake my head not wanting anyone to leave.

"Do you want anything?" Molly askes me again I shake my head and hold my sleeping babies to my chest.

"Hey look on the bright side" Fred says.

"What is the bright side?" I ask not really in the mood to laugh after hearing the news.

"At least you won't have to do anything anymore." George answers.

"And why is that?" Ginny askes for me.

"Knowing Ronniekings.." Starts the earless twin.

"He won't let Hermione..." The other says.

"Here lift a single finger" They finish off together.

"Idiots" Ginny mutters under her breath but we all hear it before saying "Are you two serious?"

"No they aren't, I am" Sirius says making us chuckle a bit.

"Gin you walked right into that one." Harry says "Anyways I'm sure it is not going to be that bad."

"Do you know anything about having cancer at all Harry?" I ask him.

"No but there is treatment for it and well you know Ron is going to be over protective of you right? he not going to leave you alone for more then 1 second and that is only for him to go to the bathroom or to get the babies." Harry says "It's going to be like when you where pregnant but even more so."

"Ron?" I ask turning my head to see my husband.

"Yes love?" Ron says his voice cracking.

"What are we going to do about Hugo and Rose?" I ask worried for my babies.

"What about them love?" Ron says lifting his head to look in my eyes.

"How are you going to juggle looking after them, me and both of your jobs?" I ask him.
