The one at the beach part 2

Sunday 16th August

14:23 on the beach

Rose and Hugo 3 months old (12 weeks)

As Mia walks off with her mother and daughter I sit back down on the blanket and put Rose and Hugo back on their bellies as Ron sits down next to me and wrap his arms around me.

"You know what we should do?" Harry askes as he sits next to Ginny and brings her to his lap.

"What?" I ask keeping an eye on the three babies.

"We should see who can get one of the babies to come to them the fastest"

"And what does the winner get?" Ron asks pulling me into his lap.

"Half an hour to have a date with the person they love without the babies and the losers that aren't on the date have to watch all three babies for half an hour," Ginny says.

"No I can't leave Rose and Huge, I can't, I just can't even for just 10 minutes I can't, knowing that both Ron and I are not going to be with them I can't," I say shaking my head worry fulling me.

"Why not? You know Ginny and I are going to watch them if you do win." Harry says trying to convince me.

"I just... I've been with them from the second they came into this world and I haven't let them out of my sight unless they are both fast asleep and I know they won't wake up then I'll do some housework. I know you both will watch them but they both will need feeding and I'm still breastfeeding so there is no way neither of you can do that and Rose is most likely going to start crying and she isn't comfortable with you both yet so if you try to hold her she will start screaming her head off which will set Hugo and Teddy off and who knows what Hugo's reaction is going to be once he finds out we are gone he'll most likely going to cry which again is going to set Rose and Teddy off. And the only time I let them out of my sight was when I was in the hospital" I say all in one breath and while saying that Rose is cowling to me and is now sitting up with my help.

"Breath love if not you're going to pass out and we don't want that do we?" Ron says as he tightens his arms around me.

"ok," I say taking a deep breath in and letting it out slowly.

"What was that about?" Ginny askes us.

"I don't know I just got really worried at the thought of leaving Rose and Hugo for half an hour." I say as Hugo cowls to Ron and me "Good boy Hugo your so smart yes you are" I say this in a baby voice as I lift him into my arms next to his sister.

"Do think they noticed we have gone yet or still arguing?" Harry asks as Ginny lifts Teddy and starts to play with him.

"We would know if they noticed we are gone they would come out yelling our names so I would say still arguing," Ron says as I tickle Rose and Hugo's feet making them both laugh.

"What do you say we go swimming take these three swimming for the first time?" Ginny asks.

"Sure what do you say, love?" Ron asks.

"I don't know maybe...I mean they do love baths and the water so I see why not but what if they eat a rock or sand? or if they start drowning?" I ask worrying about what might happen.

"Then we'll be right there to stop them and we'll make them stay safe and beside it's only like an inch of water so they'll be fine," Ron reassures me.
