Not related to this at all, but Pokemon Legends Arceus is such a distracting game. (In a good way, it's amazing, it's just "Hey, look at this madness".)

Shockwolf leapt towards Artemis, who jumped back and roared at the Sotoricity. Shockwolf howled in reply, electricity sparking around his shoulder bolts. Artemis growled as Shockwolf stared down at her. The Vulpimancer's gills flapped as Shockwolf had electricity danced around him. The Sotoricity stepped forward a paw, letting a surge of electricity towards Artemis. Her gills flared and she leapt into the air as the bolts curled to a stop where she once was. Shockwolf surged towards her, leaping up and tackling her. Artemis roared as she crashed to the ground. He landed, growling. She stood back up, growling as well.

"That's enough," EightEight gurgled. Artemis paused as Shockwolf relaxed. He trotted over to EightEight and Kevin, followed by Artemis.

A bright light blinded them, but it clearly wasn't from the Omnitrix nor Predatrix.

When the light dissipated, Artemis and Kevin were gone, leaving a startled Shockwolf and confused EightEight. "What just..." EightEight blinked.

"I have no clue either," Shockwolf commented, ears flicking a bit.

Artemis reeled in panic before becoming still. Her gills flapped like mad. From the scents she picked up, it seemed like she was in an arena of sorts with a robot-like creature observing her in confusion. The robot circled her as Artemis stood still.

The robot seemed to decide it was fine to attack the Vulpimancer, charging towards her. She waited until it was close, then launched herself at the robot, crashing into its torso. The robot broke apart as she broke through it entirely and landed on the ground. Artemis paused and kept her scent-sight sharp. The deactivated robot, the walls of the arena, the faint scent of blood and bodies.

A cheer came from somewhere beyond the walls, where her scent-sight couldn't see. She tensed as two of the walls fell. Artemis calmed as she pinpointed Kevin, along with a confused rock-electric creature and one... she couldn't smell at all. The Omnitrix finally began to beep, then she transformed back in a flash of red light. Now with actual sight and not just smells, she looked towards the other two. The one she could somewhat see with Artemis appeared to be a humanoid made of slate electricity with pale purple-green rock-like armor. The one she couldn't see seemed to be made out of pure energy, being mostly magenta or purple in nature with a female human body.

The energy being seemed to beam before floating towards the center and saying, "Hi I'm Sunny who are you three?"

"Uh... I'm Crow, that's Cobra," Kevin said, pointing towards Gwen when he introduced her.

"Hi," Gwen nodded, coming up to him, making his cloak ruffle a bit.

The rock armored one seemed nervous but said, "My... name is Snow."

Before Sunny could ramble, an announcer proclaimed, "Here are our new challengers!" Snow flinched, spinning around as a crowd cheered and roared. Gwen, Kevin, and Sunny looked around more... calmly (for a lack of a better term) than Snow. Beyond the curved walls of the arena were layers upon layers of stands and viewers. The announcer continued, "We have three challengers from Earth and one from Anodyne!"

"Wait how is the Fulmini from Earth?" Sunny asked, pointing at Snow. Snow stepped back slightly from Sunny's comment. The Fulmini stayed silent.

"Don't look at us," Kevin shrugged.

The announcer began to ramble in a language they couldn't understand as a door opened on one of the sides of the arena. A few robots, much larger and seemingly more well made than the one she destroyed, stepped out of the door. The robots approached them before using their weapons- some sort of double-bladed staff- to push them towards the door. Sunny tried to kick one of the robots, but it pushed her to the ground and stabbed her with a metal stick. The energy being chirped something, an odd chip now on her shoulder. The robot forced her up, then towards the door. Snow followed what the robots implied, completely silent. Gwen and Kevin didn't immediately move, but once Sunny tried to rebel, they followed Snow.
