Hello my name is James lake Junior my friends call me Jim that is if I had any more friends. Don't get me wrong I'm not being bullied or anything it's just I distanced myself from everyone because I had to take care of my mum after my dad disappeared more like walked out on us. At first I didn't mind being by myself I only care about taking care of my mom's but now that I'm almost 16 it's gotten quite lonely I mean I'm not been isolated I just don't know how to talk to people anymore to make matters worse I've got a huge crush on a girl that doesn't even know I exist so that doesn't help my confidence either
I look out my window and I see a shooting star flashacross the sky, A childish thought comes to my mind: I wish for a new friend A best friend someone who will take beside me through thick and thin someone I can count on as they can count on me that's what I want
The shooting star disappears who am I kidding, as children stuff there is no way that my new best friend would just fall out of the sky
