13) letting go

Titus arrived the next morning at arkadia. Clarke was the first one to notice him and ran up to him worried that there was something wrong with Lexa, but Titus told her that she was okay. "But why are you here then?" Asked Clarke. "I'm looking for your daughter, Mira isn't it?" Answered Titus. "No you can't take her" reacted Clarke really fast. "But she's the only nightblood besides the commander who's left". Clarke started screaming at Titus she just couldn't loose her little girl, Mira meant everything to her and she had no idea what she would do without her. Mira heard her mom screaming and came in to check what was up, when she noticed it was Titus she told her mom to stop screaming at him, her mom told her that he wanted to take her so she believed that she had every right to scream at him, "but mom I asked him to come..." said Mira. Clarke froze because she couldn't believe what she just heard. "Mom please say something" begged Mira after a two minute silence. "Why? I mean not why I should say something but why wanna talk to him?" "Because I wanna know more about my blood" "You could've just ask me" "I just didn't wanna bother you" "Hun you know that I don't mind" the truth was that Mira was scared that her mom would leave out the facts that could help her find her other mom, but she didn't wanna tell her that she was trying to find out who her other mom is. Titus interrupted their conversation and asked Mira is she wants to come to polis with her to where all nightbloods have to come. Mira directly said yes because she thought that if the other nightbloods are there that her mom might be too. Clarke knew that she couldn't stop her daughter from going and she let her go for Lexa, although Lexa still couldn't be the mom to their daughter she would at least have the chance to meet her.

Titus and Mira spend the whole afternoon horseback riding to polis while Titus told everything about nightbloods to Mira.

Lexa was in Polis and just heard that Titus was gonna get a nightblood they found, who she'll have to train with the other kids she was training. She couldn't help hoping that it was her daughter, but she also was scared that it was her because she doesn't want her to have the same live as she has. Gosh she wanted to see her daughter so bad, it was the only thing she wanted in her live that she could actually get, just seeing her daughter laugh one time. She told herself to not hope for it because it was pretty unlikely anyway, plus love is weakness, she kept telling herself that to convince herself. So she let go of her feelings again. No hope, no disappointment. No love, no pain.
