Why did she think embarrassing occurrences worked like alcohol and were easily forgotten in the morning? She was at her office typing away on her computer with flushed red cheeks. She had to find that guy and apologize. She just had to do it. It would eat away at her if she didn't. She knew it would ruin her day if some random stranger came up to her and chewed her out for her habits. Agh, this was so frustrating.

"Hey hey, little jewel" Julia looked up to see Amy looking at her with a big smile bordering on something of a mischievous stare.

"Soo, how'd it go?" Amy giggles.

'How'd it go?' Julia mocked in her head. It didn't go anywhere. In fact we've been stuck in the same spot ever since we texted because he didn't even show up. And come on Amy, couldn't you have done some research on the man's type before sending that guy to me and giving me false hope...And what am I even supposed to tell you in this situation? 'Oh it went fine.', 'Oh he was so cute I really enjoyed myself.' or did she want to hear 'he didn't even show up thanks for sending me a scrub, Amy.' No. She wouldn't want to hear that. " It was certainly a memorable experience. I guess." Julia tried her best to keep eye contact but the weight of Amy's confused eyes made her nervous.

"Memorable in a good way or a bad one?" Amy looked concerned and took Julia's silence as her answer.

" Oh no, i'm so sorry-" Julia's phone alarm cut off Amy's sentence. It's lunch time already? Julia hastily got up and walked away. "Awkward.Awkward.Awkward." Julia whispered to herself. It was a shame Julia couldn't say what she wanted the right way but the message still got across. Now, the moment Julia was dreading. Finding that guy.

The bookstore was unbelievably busy when Julia reached the store. Well it was lunch time, what was she expecting, for it to be as quiet and empty as when she was there last? The cafe side of the store was packed with people- all impatiently tapping their feet or checking their watches and the book side was deserted. Is the clerk here today? Julia wondered. She walked down the maze of books and navigated through them as if she'd done this a thousand times. She walked right to the very back of the store and smiled. Romance novels. She hadn't even finished reading the other ones she bought the other day but she was already about to spend more money. "Goodness, did you finish reading the books I recommended for you already?" Julia turned to see the man from last night!?

His fluffy black hair that curtained his carribean blue eyes. He had a navy blue button up today but still had the top two buttons undone. His pretty chest tattoo showed with pride. And unlike last night his ears and right eyebrow had earrings in them. Yep, exactly her type.

She tilted her head at him, "i-it's you."

He mimicked her motions, "yes?"

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm working."

Her skepticism showed even though she was trying to be polite.

"You saw me here yesterday."

"I saw you smoking here yesterday. I didn't assume you worked here." She snapped. She had a thing against people without manners.

"I own this place though."

Her face turned bright pink. She lectured the store owner about smoking in front of his own store. "W-why didn't you tell me that the store was yours!"

He grins, "you never asked."

Unbelievable.

"So what did you come here for, more romance novels or coffee this time?"

"This time. What do you mean this time?"

"You know, when you came here yesterday looking for romance novels."
