I do not Star vs. the Forces of Evil

READ ON!

Star's POV:

Did Marco Diaz just kiss me? And did I actually kiss back?

Those questions played through my mind all night. I dreamed of that kiss. I dreamed of the future that we could have. It was an amazing night.

I woke up with birds chirping at my window. I got up and sighed. It was a beautiful day. Nothing can go wrong.

Wait, I'm forgetting something. The duel!

I quickly looked at the time. 10:00.

Marco only has two hours left!

I ran downstairs. Marco was downstairs watching TV.

"Marco!" I half yelled. "What are you doing?! You should be training!"

Marco groaned.

I pulled him off the couch. "Come on!"

For the next two hours, we trained. I sent fireballs out of my wand and Marco dodged. I summoned a fiery warrior. He battled him and lost the first two tries, but finally got it.

"You did great Marco!" I smiled. "Now for the armor!"

"Armor," Marco smirked. "I don't need armor."

I rolled my eyes. "Sure, safe kid."

Marco smiled. "Fine."

I grabbed my wand. I thought of the perfect style. Something that will cover him, but nothing heavy. I GOT IT!

I shot my wand's magic at Marco. Marco now wore an iron breastplate, gauntlets, and iron shoes.

"Thanks Star." Marco smiled. My heart melted.

Marco said, "We should probably go."

I nodded. "Right."

I got out my dimensional scissors, but hesitated. What if we didn't go? Tom doesn't have dimensional scissors. He can't come after us. What if we just hid here?

"Star?" Marco asked.

I didn't look up. "What if we didn't go?"

Marco sighed. "Star, we talked about this. There's no other way."

I said. "We could run! Tom wouldn't catch us!"

Marco put his hand on my shoulder. "Listen, Star. I'll be alright. I'll come back to you."

I sighed. "Okay. Just promise to be careful."

He leaned in and kissed me quickly. "Promise."

I didn't know what to say after that so I just opened the portal. We walked in, and we were back in Tom's cave.

Marco's POV:

"I didn't think you would show up." Tom said twirling a rose on fire.

"Well you thought wrong." I growled.

Tom got up and walked over to Star. I tensed. Tom gave the rose to Star.

"For you my dear." Tom said.

Star growled and threw the flower on the ground. She stomped on it and glared at Tom.

Tom laughed. "That won't be necessary. Soon, you'll have no choice, but to love me."

Star growled. "Don't count Marco out yet."

"I don't need to." Tom laughed, "I already know I will win."

I growled. "Are we going to sit here and talk, or are we going to fight?!"

Tom growled and he threw a fireball. But at Star not me. I pushed her down and almost got burned.

"Star is your weakness!" Tom yelled.

I yelled back, "So you would hurt her?!"

Tom shrugged. "You would do anything to protect her."

I glared. "Yeah, I would. You wouldn't."

Tom glared and shot fireballs at me. I dodged each one. Then I ran at him. I tackled him to the ground. He threw a punch at my jaw and I was knocked off. I got up and kicked his stomach. He rolled on his back.

Star yelled. "Marco, water!"

"What?!" I yelled.

Tom got up and charged. I ducked out of the way and he raced pass me. He came at me again, but I tackled him. I got him in a head lock. He thrashed around, but I got a firm grip.

"Star, what are you talking about?" I called.

Star yelled. "Water! Water is his weakness. His fire will diminish and he won't be able to throw fire! You could beat him!"

"AND YOU TELL ME THIS NOW!"

"I DIDN'T REMEMBER IT UNTIL NOW!" Star yelled a spell and a pool of water appeared.

I dragged Tom over. He saw it and started to fight harder. A few times he got away, but I couldn't stop. I finally got to the water with Tom in my arms. I dove in and a sizzle was heard.

I jumped out of the water and so did Tom. Except he wasn't on fire. He walked over. He made a fist and attempted to light it on fire. It didn't. He tried again and I laughed.

"Big mistake." He punched my face.

I fell to the ground. Star called my name. I touched my chin. Blood was dripping down. I got up and stalked over to Tom.

I punched his face and kept punching. He kicked my guts and I coughed blood. My vision was getting blurry, but I kept going. I had to do this for Star.

I got up. And with the last of my strength, I punched Tom as hard as I could. He fell to the ground. He didn't get up. A light appeared above my head.

I fell to the ground. I just remember Star's amazing blue eyes before passing out.
