The Void King has protected his kingdom so long he's forgotten his own name. It's become natural at this point. Anyone who lands down here is sure to die. Blood swirls around until it doesn't exist. It's been awhile since someone has been down here and lived.
The 69,400th line. Did he really become the void king at 20? Who knows at this point. His life is so dull. So alone. He was called to the void to rule it. Others are called to be killed. He's been cursed here for thousands of years to stay down here and do that job.
There were others called here for reasons he didn't know. Mainly because they never came. When they did, they were hard to get to for some reason. He made himself some coffee and waited. For how long? Who knew. But someone would come eventually.Someone was being called. His ears perked up as he heard the familiar hum. The one he heard so many times. He polished his blade. Someone would be here soon. Someone whose blood would swirl until it didn't exist anymore.
That's how it was down here. Only one way it would end. How it would always end. Nothing was sacred down here. Nothing was treasured.
He waited patiently, knowing void knew best. His title of king was laughable. He was no king. He was the servant. The Void King only lived to kill those the void seemed unfit for life.
He was so dramatic sometimes. Maybe he could try out the knew speech he prepared. Not that it was creative, but it would bring something to the monotony that plagued him.
Not that it would end this. No matter how hard he tried, and he had tried very hard, he would still be this way until the void itself ended.
Sadly, the void was endless.
"Wait! Please no! Please! Whatever force this is, please don't do this! I-I can't die. I can't die yet. I-I've been trying so hard t-to discover who I was. Please." The voice seemed weak. Strange. He looked to see what world it was. 'Dream SMP' He hadn't seen anything from this-
Where was urge to kill? He usually felt the need to draw blood at this point. To kill whoever had been brought to him. But right now he didn't feel that. He felt something else.
What was it? He hasn't felt anything in so long. He didn't want to kill this guy, but protect him. Protect? That couldn't be right. Something was wrong, and this kid was to blame.
Or he wasn't. Know it wasn't this kids fault. The kid thought he was going to die.
As if on cue the boy started pleading again. "I-I'm sorry. I d-d-don't remember what I-I did wrong! Wh-What did I d-do this time?"
"You haven't done anything. Jump down here. I'll protect you from the effects of being down here. Just be careful about it."
"I d-don't have a-a choice do I-I?" He asked.
"The void won't let you go until you do. I can get you back up though."
"The void? Are y-you not th-the void?"
"I am The Void King. As much as I wish I wasn't. I am nightmares and dreams with a dash of hope and a sprinkle of fear." He stopped himself from saying the last part. 'And I will guide you to deaths door.' Would not be a very convenient way to greet someone he'd like to protect.
