I was sitting comfortably in my bed while I was scrolling through 4chan looking at memes, I glanced at the clock. it was 2:56. I need to sleep soon but I couldn't sleep even if I wanted to. As I was scrolling I noticed something tapping on my window. I decided to pass it off as one of the stupid Ginko trees branches. It's been growing since I'd say about... three years. My landlord insists on keeping it there, but I don't wanna ask them about moving it because they love that tree. It's like their baby. Then I hear a larger, louder tapping. It wasn't very windy out tonight so I decided to go and check it out, nothings there. And so because I was up I might as well get some food from the mini-fridge in the corner of my room by my desk. So I grabbed a Pepsi and some pieporinis and went back to scrolling through 4chan. I have no clue how long I've been scrolling when my dog started barking and ran up the stairs. He was probably barking at nothing like always. I'll admit I'm a little terrified, as he doesn't run up the stairs when he barks. He was probably just super energetic tonight, so that would explain why he ran up the stairs. But I did hear tapping on my window, it couldn't have been the Ginko tree. It wasn't even slightly windy. Plus when I checked nothing was there. So it's probably the best idea to just listen for anything just in case. As I went up so my door I heard something shatter.
