Confession gone wrong (Lukanette)

Mari Pov

Luka convinced me to confess to Adrien. I walked to the park trying to clear my head, but I see him start walking towards his car. No no no I told Luka I would confess. Without thinking I shout his name and he stops. I run over to him.

"Is everything ok?"

"I have something really important I want to tell you"

"Ok, I have time."

"I've had a crush on you since you gave me your umbrella and I always stutter around you because I like you Adrien. I was wondering if you would like to go to the movies sometime?"

"F-R-I-E-N-D-S you're just a friend. I like someone else. I hope we can still be friends?" I never thought Adrien could be so cold. I started to cry.

"Oh Hell Naw!" someone behind me says.

Luka Pov

I finally got Mari to agree to confess her love for Adrien. I was proud of myself, but it still stung. I knew Adrien was at the park because of a photoshoot and by the time she would arrive it would be over. Being the good friend I am I told her to go to the park and 'clear her head'. Soon after she left I told Juleka and she grabbed her phone so she could see her friends reaction to what was about to go down. We got to the park and hid close enough for us to hear. I saw Mari run up to him. Juleka text her friend that it was urgent and to get on a video call, but to be quiet. I was so shocked that she actually confessed! The girls were freaking out. Then all of that came to a end when Adrien said what he said. I saw her start crying and anger took over me. I did what anyone would do for their melody. He asked her to still be friends!
"Oh Hell Naw!" I didn't mean to say that out loud. I come out of my hiding place.
"What are you doing here Luka!" Adrien spoke to me with such additude I didn't even know who he was.
"How DARE you break my melodys heart you absolute blond bitch! She is the most amazing girl you will ever find! I don't know if it's just blond in you, which I doubt because even Chloe is smarter than you! But you are fucking dense as hell!"
"Whatever!" Adrien starts walking away part of me wants to knock some sense into him but he's too dense for that to work. I look down at Mari expecting her to be crying, but she isn't she's smiling.
"Don't get me wrong I want you to be happy, but why? You just got rejected"
"I am sad, but part of expected that to happen and I wanted that to happen."
"Why?"
" I wanted to move on from him so I could be with someone else without thinking about him."
"Who?" I tried to keep the dissapointment out of my voice, but I know she heard it.
"You" ME! She said she wanted to be with ME! Is this a dream? Am I going crazy?
"Me?" I say with shock and a smile across my face.
"Luka would you like to go on a date with me?"
"Absloutely!" I pull her into a kiss. This is the best day of my life.
