Car Crash (Adrienette)

A/N: There is no Ladybug and Chat Noir. Adrien has had a crush on Marinette but just hid it.

Mari pov:
*At lunch*

Alya: We should hangout at the park after school!

Mari: Yeah we should!

Alya: My parents are chill with whatever, so are yours!

Mari: Should we invite the boys?

Alya: Yeah! Since you can finally speak to Adrien without stuttering!

She nudges me with her elbow and winks. It's true I started talking to Adrien normally. Alya drags me over to the where the boys are sitting.

Alya: Hey guys! Do you want to come to the park with me and Mari later?

Nino: My parents don't get home till later. I'm in!

Adrien: Let me ask my father.

Nino: Dude he doesn't let you go out ever!

Adrien gives him a small frown. I feel bad for him. He walks away and calls his father. Then not to long after he runs up to us with a huge smile.

Adrien: I can come to the park with you guys!

Nino: Dude lets go!

Alya: Finally!

Mari: That's awesome Adrien! I'm happy you can join us!

I give him a smile and he smiles back at me.
The bell rings and we go to our classroom.

The bell rang and I run out of the classroom and go to my locker. By the time I'm done there is only a few people left. I notice Adrien is still at his locker so I wait for him. Soon he's done and he walks over to me.

Adrien: You didn't have to wait for me.

Mari: I know but that's what friends are for!

I smile at him and he smiles back. Then he starts slightly blushing which makes me blush. We start walking to the park. When we get there Nino and Alya are sitting on a blanket talking. We join in and start talking.

Nino left to go home to finish homework and not to long after Alya left. Adrien and I talked for awhile.

Mari: I should go home I promised Alya I would design a line for ladybug and chat noir themed clothes.

Adrien: Let me walk you home.

Mari: You don't have to.

Adrien: I know but I want to.

We start walking, but we start hear screaming. We look over and see a child in the middle of the street about to get hit by a car. I look at Adrien and he looks at me and we start running. I run to the little boy and block him from the car. I feel the car hit me. I lay on the ground and somebody runs up to me. My vision blurs up. I notice Adrien is next to me. He is yelling at other people then looks at me.

Adrien: Hey! I need you to keep your eyes on me ok.

It gets harder to hear. And my eyes start to close. First I see bright green eyes then nothing. I black out.

Adrien pov:

Me and Mari both see the boy. We look at each other and run, but she is much faster than me. By the time I get there she already is blocking the boy. Everything happens in slow motion I try to get to her before the car hits her. The car was to fast and hits Mari then drives away. I run up to Mari.

Adrien: Someone call an ambulance! Don't just stand there!

The boys mother runs up to her son and hugs him.

Mother: Tell your friend thank you.

She runs away. The ambulance comes not to long later and takes Mari on a stretcher and allows me to ride along. When we get to the hospital and they take Mari to the E.R. I call Mrs. and Mr. Dupain-Cheng and they were devastated I couldn't help but break down with them. I called Alya and Nino next and that didn't end well either. I call Natalie to let her know what happened and told her to tell my father. Soon Mari's parents come and pull be into a tight hug and ask me if I was ok. Alya runs in not to much later with Nino trailing far behind her. The doctor comes out and walks toward us.

Doctor: Are all of you with Marinette?

Sabine: Yes!

Doctor: She made it out of the surgery but multiple bones are broken, she has a severe concussion, and she is paralyzed from the waist down. I'm so sorry!

The news shocked us all and we all broke down with tears.

Sabine: Can we see her? Does she know?

Doctor: Yes you can see her, but she doesn't know yet.

Her parents walk to her room, but before they walk in they wave to us to follow. We all walking and see Mari is still sleeping and we wait. She is so cute when she is sleeping.

Mari: Mom! Dad!

Mari slowly opens her eyes, but then her eyes get big and she starts panicking.

Mari: I can't move my legs! Why can't I move my legs?!

She starts crying which makes the rest of us start crying.

Sabine: Honey you're paralyzed from the waist down. I'm sorry

I look over to see Alya breaking down in Nino's arms. Soon the two leave, leaving me with Mari's parents. Mari fell asleep a little bit ago.

Adrien: I am so sorry! If I had just ran faster this wouldn't have happened!

I start crying. The couple look at each other then look at me and hug me. I'm stiff at first then I relax into it. They let me go and stand back.

Sabine: It's not your fault she loves to help people

Tom: We don't blame you and no matter what she doesn't let anyone else get hurt.

We talk for a little bit but they have to leave because they have to work at the bakery even earlier due to Valentine's day coming up in 2 days.

Adrien: Mrs. and Mr. Dupain-Cheng I was wondering if I could have your permission to ask your daughter out?

Sabine: Of course sweetheart

Tom: Don't break her heart

They soon left. I was sitting in the chair when all of a sudden Mari starts jerking around. I run over to her and wake her up. She starts crying and I rub her back and tell her everything is going to be ok. She fall back to sleep. Visiting hour close and I have to leave.

It's been two days since Maris accident and we have been hanging out so much. I help her at school and then take her home and hangout. Today is Valentines day and I gave her a personalized wheel chair and paid for a ramp to be installed into her home with money I earned from modeling. I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes. This was the best Valentines day ever.

A/N: Sorry it was rushed at the end I had a writers block and didn't know what to do. It was one of the longer ones and I apologize for that. Should I make it to a whole different story on it's own and add more detail?
