A/N TW: swearing, blood, death
Mari Pov:
I just exposed Lie-la's lies. I'm still not talking to my "friends". The only person I will talk to is Chat. Lie-la ran out the room in anger.
*Time skip brought to you by Adrien's denseness*
I'm in my room designing for my fall clothes collection. I hear someone jump behind me.
"What did I tell you Chat about coming in without knocking?" I turn around to see a akumatised Lie-la
"Don't worry you'll see him real soon, but first you'll come with me!" she takes me the top of a building and starts beating me up bad! Blood starts to come out of my nose and mouth. I hear the constant snapping of bones. I black out.
Adrien Pov:
The news comes on, but I don't pay attention. Then there was a new camera with Lie-la akumatised.
"Hello Paris! I'm only here to see a black kitty! I believe you have a certain princess to save?" the camera turns and I see Mari sitting against a wall, blood coming from her mouth and nose. She looks really pale and fragile.
"Any words for you're kitty?"
" Don't come Chat! *cough* this isn't you're fault!" then the video cuts out. I stand there dumbfounded.
"Kid you got to transform!" Plagg says getting me out of my thoughts.
"Wait don't transform yet!" Tikki yells
"Tikki what are you doing here?" I ask
"Tikki it's time for them both to know!" Plagg says with a little bit of sadness
"As much as I don't want to, I think you're right."
"What are you talking about!" I shout
"Adrien my owner is taken hostage by Lila and need you to combine me and Plagg!"
"But Lie-la just has Marinette!"
"See Tikki I told you he was dense!"
"I'm not dense!"
"ADRIEN MARINETTE IS LADYBUG YOU COMPLETE DUMBASS!" Plagg yells at me with complete anger and worry. I-I can't believe this my princess is m'lady! MY PRINCESS IS M'LADY! MY PRINCESS IS M'LADY AND SHE'S KIDNAPED!
"ADRIEN THE AKUMA" Tikki breaks me out of my thoughts. I transform and combine Plagg and Tikki. I jump out of my room and use my baton to find where she is. Then I see two figures on the top of the Eiffel tower. I head there and jump down in front of Lie-la.
"I was wondering when you would show up!"
"Let her go Lila!"
"No!"
"I guess I'll just have to take her then."
"Not if I can stop that!" Lila lunges at me but misses and falls. I try to run up to Mari.
"Chat watch out!" Mari screams and I turn around before she can hit me with her ray of who knows what. I spin my baton so it deflects it.
"Thanks Princess!" Lila comes at me full force and it catches me off guard. I stumble and fall giving her a chance to grab Mari. I get up and turn to face her. Her arm is around Mari's neck and a knife aimed at her heart.
"Take one step forward kitty and I'll kill her!"
"Chat the akuma is in her necklace! Don't worry about me! It's the end of my road and it's not your fault ok?" I glance at her and sadness comes over me. She really is just excepting death.
"LUCKY CHARM!" I shout and black and red highlights areas. I figure out what to do and my plan starts to work. When it's about to hit her, she stabs Mari and pushes her off the Eiffel Tower. Then the ball hits lila and makes her go unconscious.
"NOOO!" I shout
"CHAT NOIR get her!" a voice behind me says. I look to see who it is. It's Rena Rough!
"What about her!" I ask
"Just get Mari NOW! I got this BITCH!" Without hesitation I jump down. I'm just a few inches from me and I try to grab her. She stares at me in the eyes. Just before we fall I grab her fingers but my grip slips and she crashes against the ground but not super hard. Luckily I slowed her fall. I pull out my baton so I don't fall. I gently land next to Mari and I kneel down next to her.
"I'm so sorry Princess!" Tears fall down my face and I grab her hand.
"It's ok kitty! It's not your fault!" She whispers. She closes her hand around mine and I put my head on her hand.
"No! Stop talking like that!" I detransform
"Adrien!" She smiles softly at me and her blinking gets slower
"Please Princess stay alive I already lost my mother!"
"I don't think we have a choice kitty."
"Please Princess!"
"Promise me you won't get akumatised or kill someone!"
"I promise!"
"I love you kitty! She smiles at me and looks at the sky. He breathing stops.
"Princess! Princess! No! NO NOO!" I hear a thud then running. I look up and see Rena, I shake my head at her. She runs up next to me and looks at Mari."
"NO!" She screams and starts shaking Mari. Then cries into my shoulder and detransforms.
