the Hospital

Minho was in the waiting room, fidgeting.

He was afraid, he was making up in his head a million situations in which the doctor could come to him and announce Jisung's death.

He wasn't allowed to check on Jisung without an actual family member. So he called the only name he slightly remembered Jisung saying it. He pressed on the "Innie" and told the voice from the other side to come.

15 minutes later, a tall boy, with black hair and a lost look on her face entered the hospital. Minho rose from his sit and approached the boy slowly.

-Are you perhaps "Innie"?

The boy looked confused for a second, then understood who was he talking to.

-Yes. I'm Jeongin. Jisung's younger brother. You must be his boyfriend.

They shook hands, then sat down in the chairs. Minho explained everything to Jeongin who only listened and nodded.

-Thank you for finding him, he finally uttered. I'm sure he'll be ok, so don't worry.

For Minho was unbelievable how oddly calm was Jeongin knowing his brother is in the hospital. Did he even care?

-Jeongin?

The latter turned around to see Chan, Felix and Seungmin coming towards them.

-Channie hyung, he said astonished.

-Channie hyung? Felix, Seungmin and Minho yelled in confusion.

-You know each other? asked Minho.

-Yeah. Jeongin is the friend I eat lunch with every day. The one I told you about. He is a vet student. Our universities are basically one next to the other, so we see each other daily, explained Chan, then he turned to Jeongin. What are you doing here?

-He's Jisung's younger brother, said Minho curious of Chan's reaction.

The older wasn't expecting that at all.

-You never told me you had a brother.

-I have two.

-Then where is the older? Shouldn't be him the first one in the waiting room? Felix chimed in.

-He couldn't make it. He sent me instead.

-Did the doctor say anything? asked Chan to break the ice.

-No, he won't let me in until a family member goes first, replied Minho.

-Guys, I am truly grateful for worrying, but my brother is fine. Believe me, said Jeongin trying not to make a fuss of this.

-He got hypothermia. How can you be so calm? Aren't you a little bit worried? asked Seungmin sceptic.

-He can take it. His immune system is basically indestructible.

-How can you say that? He's your brother. Why aren't you worried? Minho rose his voice.

-If I worried every time he came home like this, I would be dead by heart attacks by now! Jeongin yelled. I am the younger, the useless brother. And Jisung is reckless. I cannot protect him every second of the day. My faith is that his body can take it, cause it always did. Not even once I brought him to the hospital. So stop talking like you know him better than me! I knew him for forever. You don't know shit about us!

The doctor called Jeongin inside after that. The latter has been asked of he wants someone else to enter, but he shook his head and didn't look back.

-The whole family is crazy, said Felix after making sure Jeongin wouldn't hear him.
