Pixy's story

chapter 1

what I'm about to say may sound weird but I was stolen when I was just one so was my mum.

I say stolen we weren't exactly stolen we were taken by dragons to the home of the great bewilder beast. it's truly amazing here me and mum live with all kinds of species of dragons in a massive ice cave there's hundreds maybe even thousands of them here. I love it here I have two friends one a dragon who I named jasper. we think he may be the last of his species he's a purple dragon and we think he's a an extremely rare form of the night fury, my other little friend is a wolf cub I found her a couple of months ago whilst out to find some herbs for mum she had been abandoned by her family and her foot was caught in a dragon trap so I helped and healed her she's stuck by me ever since.

my name's pixy by the way well it's not my real name my real name is Luna but my mum knows I prefer pixy so that's what I get called by now I don't respond to the name Luna anymore if I ever did. mums name is Valka she says I look just like her we both have red hair and are very slim I'm quite short but I don't mind it makes it easier for me and jasper in races against the other dragons. mum isn't exactly tall but she's not short either I cut my hair a couple years ago its still growing back otherwise the only real difference is our eyes mum has bright vibrant sky blue eyes and I have one vibrant blue eye and one forest green eye. mum says my dad had green eyes but other than that i don't know anything about him and that's ok I don't exactly care about him he's dead to me. i love living in peace with so many wonderful dragons and my mum just us its lovely.

'pixy' I heard my mum shout from where she was cooking breakfast in the sort of second cave where we slept.

'yes mum' i replied i wasn't really listening though I was to busy practising my fighting skills.

'come open your presents'

'what'

'its your birthday hunny don't tell me you forgot'

'I forgot' 'I'm coming mum'

as I went over to my mum she dished up breakfast and handed me a small box i opened it up and saw a small sapphire and emerald on a necklace.

' i know how much you wanted it'

'mum its amazing and it matches my eyes to thank you so so much' i said whilst hugging her tightly

'your welcome hun and i love you more than anything in the entire world don't ever forget that ok'

' I won't mum thank you i already know this will be the best sweet 16 anyone could ever ask for'

' it's the only one you'll have'

' which is why it will be the best'
