It started off as a normal day in the citadel for Kashuu, well for the most part normal. He was currently painting Horikawa's nails which wasn't the norm for him, but nonetheless he had been having fun doing it.That memory though, it had felt like it happened so long ago.
Now here Kashuu stood in one of the rooms of an abandoned citadel, one that had faced a war in its final moments. His glance was a pained one as he stared down at a picture, a handsome, twelve year old boy standing beside all of his touken danshi. The child reminded him of his own saniwa, Kokoro, it was as if what had happened here had taken place at his own home. Yet it hadn't, it had taken place within a different citadel on a completely different plain of existence. Still it hurt, it hurt so much.
Why did he agree to this assignment?
Oh yes, because Kashuu was personally requested by the Time Government, his master wasn't allowed to make the decision. The touken danshi bit his lip and placed the picture into his pocket. This assignment had only just begun, but at this point in time he was just hoping it would be over and done with as soon as possible.
