"EH?! [NAME]-SAN?!" Takemichi's voice echoed throughout the hallways.
Wakasa instantly runs into the hospital room only to see that [name] had her eyes open and was trying to sit up.
Immediately going to her side he helps her.
When she was finally upright she let out a small groan. Placing her hand on her stomach, she winces at the contact.
'Oh right, I was shot.' she remembers.
She then turns to look at her brother who was pouring her a glass of water.
She instantly notices the slight bags under his eyes like he hadn't slept properly in a while. How he looked a bit thinner like he'd been surviving on cup noodles for days.
He looked worse than her, and she was shot for god's sake.
"H-how long has..." She stops talking after feeling her throat burn.
Wakasa brings a glass of water and brings it to her lips, assisting her to drink. While she does, Wakasa also explained what happened.
"You've been out for a week, we almost lost you once but the doctors managed to save you." He says.
"Who won?" [name] asks.
"...Kantou Manji Gang." Takemichi says and only then does she notice his presence.
"Oh, I didn't see you there." [name] said bluntly as Takemichi sweatdrops.
"Actually, there's something you should know." Wakasa joins the conversation. [name] raises an eyebrow at his serious tone.
"Senju disbanded Brahman." Wakasa says as Takemichi looks down in guilt.
"Oh, okay." She says before going back to drinking her glass of water.
"Eh?! I thought you'd be surprised!" Takemichi exclaims.
"I am, but I'm sure Senju did it for a reason." [name] explains. Speaking of her—
"Where is she anyway?" [name] asks. Wakasa sighs and explained how Senju just visited her 2 hours ago. [name] nods.
"Oh, I should probably get a doctor." Wakasa states as he walks out. Takemichi just sweatdrops at how blunt the two are.
A few minutes later, Wakasa walks in with a doctor in tow.
"Ikari [name], I'm Dr. Matsui, the one who performed the surgery on you." [name] slightly bows her head. Wakasa comes to stand beside her bed and places his hand on her shoulder.
"Thank you for saving my life." She thanks the doctor as he smiles.
"I'm just glad to see you awake. If I may, I would like to discuss something we noticed during the surgery." Matsui says.
She felt Wakasa flinch.
Takemichi takes this as a cue to leave.
"I'll visit you later, [name]-san." he walks out.
Wakasa let's go of her shoulder and goes to sit on the seat beside the bed instead.
"Now, you are 18 years old so we normally tell the patient first in-depth what happened, but seeing how you just turned 18 on the 9th of July..."
'Oh right, I missed my birthday.'
"...we already explained your brother about your situation. We were going to hold off on telling you for a bit since we didn't want to shock you seeing how you just woke up-"
"It seems serious, please just tell me." [name] says bluntly.
The doctor turns to Wakasa who only sighs and nods.
"Ikari-san...
...You suffered from a miscarriage."
