A routine she was trying to develop, Soojung woke up on time when Monday morning came and prepared to go to school. That's not the end of it, though. All her homework, even in the boring subjects, was finished the night before. Soojung knew that to properly deal with her classes, she needed the complete hours of sleep so she wouldn't snooze in, thus she was prohibiting herself from gaming on Sunday nights as well.

She was relaxed as she went into the elevator and went down to her motorbike, waiting for her in front of the apartment building. Soojung drove in an unhurried pace and parked where she usually did when she arrived at school.

Her weekend was overall... average. Of course, it was boring, but she didn't want to admit that to herself because Jiyong was part of it. He knew about her love for Edward Scissorhands and the rest of her old movies, and Soojung hoped that Jiyong would just lie to her and say it was fun to watch instead of calling it childish.

But he did go home instead of spending it in her apartment like she requested, which was good enough to forget the small talk down about her favorite movie. Soojung never let Jiyong stay in even if he insisted, because she thought they weren't in the relationship long enough for sleepovers.

She went inside the school building and to the stairs leading to her homeroom on the fourth floor. She mentally cringed when she went into the homeroom and saw Minah already there on her seat... with Xiumin on Soojung's.

Soojung honestly wanted to look at them both like she's criticizing them just for the heck of it, but decided against it when she was already near.

"My seatmate's here." Minah said to Xiumin. "Go away."

The guy chuckled and stood up, giving Minah a chaste kiss on the side of her head even though she was trying to push his face away. "Love you too."

"Shut it." Minah spat and Xiumin completely went back to his friends at the back.

"Will you guys be doing this every day?" Soojung asked as she settled on her seat.

"What?"

"You know, being all sweet and shit." Soojung shrugged. "I need to know so I'd text you if I'm on my way to this homeroom. It's revolting."

"We won't, don't worry. I hate too much public displays of affection also." Minah rolled her eyes and faced her. "I thought you have a boyfriend, though. Don't you do it with him every once in a while?"

"Not in school, no." Soojung answered, "And definitely not in front of my bitchy seatmate."

"For fuck's sake, get over it." Minah scoffed. "I'm not the most pleasant person on Earth, but I'm sure as hell you aren't either. You came from a lower section and you ditched on the first day, so I'm basing this on facts."

"Yeah well, it was boring outside and you'd do the same." Soojung reasoned out.

Minah rolled her eyes and played with her phone like she always did, and Soojung had no choice but to do the same. That was the downside of having only one person to talk to; when they aren't available, you'd be alone again. It wasn't like Soojung wanted to be friends with Minah, but she was the only one who was decent enough to think that a person who came from a lower section than her was still a student.

Of course, Soojung knew that Lay would be glad to talk to her, if only their seats weren't so far from each other. And it would be a little odd if she went there at the back just to find a conversation that was worth her time.

It was only a few minutes later until Bang Yi-Jae entered the room with the usual activity papers on hand, greeting her class a good morning and the second section greeting back. Soojung leaned back on her seat and urged herself to listen since there was nothing better to do.
