Yes the title is like a parody of Janes Addiction. They are a band that I like. If you know them that's awesome if you don't I recommend that you check them out.

Peter Pan pov

He ran through the woods, adrenaline pumping through his vines, sweat beating on his forehead. His arms were pumping at his sides and his strong legs beating the ground and propelling  him through the jungle. This was his comfort. This excitement was what he loved. Man those pirates were dumb the flag was easy to get even though it was heavily gaurded. He was easy able to slip past them and snatch the flag from right under there noses. That's when he raised that they were all drunk. Ofcorse they were what else could he expect from Hook and his crew. It was rather pathetic really. Most of them had a flask in there hand witch was no doubt filled with rum or wine. What is with pirates and there rum? Sure it's good once and a while but come on Peter didn't understand having an addiction to it. He didn't like the idea of being dependent as something as insignificant as a liquid.

Well there loss was his gain. There was no way they could have won especially with them like this. He had the home court advantage anyway. He knew this island like the back of his hand. He was one with the island. He was part of it as much it was of him.

Now that he had the flag all he needed to do was run it back to hangman's tree. Sure he could teleport, it would be much faster but he didn't want to be a hypocrite. He had always hated when people cheated. If you cheat you will never know if you could ever win or not. Also it's not like you actually win anyway. It's all about self reliance you can't use a magic spell every time you want something. Real like requires hard work. That's how he got here in the first place. Besides it is much more satisfying to rub it in when you actually win.

Sure some might call Peters obesssion with winning unhealthy but he was just extreamly competitive. It was who he was. He had a hungry ego that always needed to be fed. He was never satisfied and he wasn't sure if he ever would be. That's why He had to keep playing. He loved a challenge. That's one of the reasons he liked Gracen so much. She tried to keep herself all boxed up and mysterious but she wasn't very good at it. Pan thought that she was fun to play with. He liked pushing her to her limits and seeing how far he could go with her. So far she was yet to break. This surprised Peter because usually the girls he took to never land were whiny and couldn't handle more then a day. That was one of the many reasons there were no lost girls. They were not strong enough and complained about life in the jungle. Also living with hormonal teenage boys who knows what they would do when left unsurpervised.

Sure Gracen and Jula-Rose wanted to leave but they weren't like any other girls he had met. Peter wanted Gracen to live on the island forever. She would make the perfect lost girl and she would only answer to him. That's why he was Sprinting through the forest at full speed. It was for Gracen. It was all for her. That's why he was dodging the pirates that he pad begun to chase him. It was all for his lost girl so she could be with him and they could be happy. Just The two of them.

He thought of the two of them snuggled up in his bed, surrounded by warm blankets, there soft skin melting into each other. The two of them exchanging stories about past experiences and what they hope for in the future. The two of them running around having fun playing games and laughing together. The two of them going on a moonlight flight, rather romantic for Pan but she made him want to do things he had never want to do before.

He was amost there. He was so close. He just needed to run a little bit further. He knew the way back to the tree by hart. Take a left at that tree, take a right by the pond, jump over that root so you don't trip. He was almost there, the tree was in view. He got his second wind and sped forward. He could see Felix sitting on a log and there she was watching him. Five yards, four yards, two yards. He was finally there.

He grabbed Gracen swiftly and slammed the flag into her shoulder. The lost boys had won. Of corse they had. Peter didn't have a doubt in his mind. He jumped up into the air and let out a long, loud, "cock-a-doodle-do." Imedtily all the lost boys ran out from where ever they were hiding and scamper over to the front of the tree. They all looked up at him, wide grins spread on all of there rounds faces. There great leader was victorious again. Peter looked down at his lost boys and sighed happily. This is what this was all about. This is why they were in Neverland. This is what being a leader was like and he loved it. This is what it should feel all the time. He felt proud, almost like he could do anything.

Peter landed and watched as Hook stormed angrily out of the shadows. Peter was excited to negotiate the terms of surrender. Peter was thinking that Hook should give him all of his weaponry. All of his booze. Some of his gold.  Then he should leave the island and never come back. He knew that even if the pirate took the deal he would be back to the island. They had made an agreement like this before. He always comes back for something. This time thought he lost to a game. He had lost fair and square. Maybe this time he could get rid of the damn pirate for once and for all. What choice did the pirate have really? He had lost fair and square. It's bad to go back on your word, even a pirate wouldn't want to sacrifice his honor. It wasn't good form and he knew how important good form was to the captain.

Like I said there was going to be a long chapter. This one is well over 1000 words. I don't think I have had a chapter this long in a while. I hope you like it. I just did four chapters so I hope that makes up a bit for my absence. I'll try not to be gone for that long again. Sorry guys. I love ya remember to vote comment and come to me if you have any ideas or if you just need to talk. Have a great day, morning, afternoon, night, or evening. Love ya Nerdyfangirl
