"Look at this guy. He's so sexy. Thirty-eight, looking for a babysitter, kid is eight years old." Richie looked at the pictures of the guy, Eddie, and his son, Samuel. "Oh, and his son is so cute!"

"What? Are you gonna babysit him?" Stan asked lamely, scrolling through his phone.

"The kid, yeah. But I wouldn't mind getting a piece of his dad on the way. He'll see how good I am with kids and wanna bend me over," Richie said and squirmed and shimmied as he thought about it. Stan rolled his eyes.

"Don't you work with kids enough during the day?"

"I love kids, man. What can I say?"

Richie clicked to message the guy, Eddie.

Hi! My name is Richie, and I saw your job offer
for a babysitter. I'm interested and if you'd
like to know more about me, i'd love to
speak with you.

A few hours later, he received a message back from Eddie.

Hello, Richie. I'd love to get to know more
about you before I hire you, just to see
if you'd be a good fit for my son.

Well, i'm 26. I majored in child psychology in college, so i'm really, really good with kids.
I love cats and I make a mean casserole :)
That was a joke, I hate casserole.

Thirty minutes passed before Eddie responded.

I hate casserole, too.
Most times I work late at night, so I hope we can
work something out with our schedules.

That's great, because I work during the day :)

What do you do for work?

I'm a kindergarten teacher, so i'm basically on
the same schedule as your kid

That's great.
When is the earliest you can come and spend
a day with Samuel?

Whenever you want

Can you come on Wednesday?

Wednesday it is. I'll bring coffee ;)

On Wednesday, Richie showed up to the address Eddie gave him with a coffee ordered the exact way Eddie told him. He knocked on the door and was met with Eddie's little boy, Samuel.

"Are you my new sitter?" He asked cheerfully, and Richie nodded.

"Samuel, what did I tell you about opening the door?"

And he was met with Eddie. Beautiful, suit-clad, doe-eyed Eddie.

"Hi. Thanks for the coffee, by the way. God knows I needed it."

"Of course, sir," Richie smiled, and Samuel asked if he could have a sip of Eddie's coffee.

"Are you a fun babysitter?" Samuel asked in between sips of coffee. Richie had never seen a small child enjoy coffee so much.

"As fun as I'm gonna get,"

"Just as long as you're not gonna torture me whenever dad leaves,"

"Well, alright, Samuel. I promise not to torture you. Can I call you Sam?" Richie said, and Samuel smiled and nodded. "Okay, Sam."
