Richie's family moved to Paris around half a year ago. They originally visited because they wanted to travel the world, because Derry was boring. The went to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower, to visit for two weeks, and then went back home for a year. They decided that change was good, and that they should move somewhere different. Paris, it was, and Richie really couldn't do much but follow.

He was twenty, still living with his parents, no job. He dropped out a college because it was ruining his mental health, and he figured being a disk jockey just was not worth it. Paris was a new start, and Richie liked new.

He'd made friends there, just a few, but only two of them could speak english. Beverly and Stan, but Stan wasn't quite fluent. Mike, Ben, and Bill tried their hardest. Richie didn't know if he was too much friends with Eddie, because Eddie didn't speak to him, and even if he didn't say something about Richie, Richie couldn't really tell because he couldn't understand french.

Honestly, he had a small crush on Eddie.

Richie didn't know anything in french. He knew that "bonjour" means hello, and that "oui" means yes. That was about it. He knew a few phrases, but none that were important, like 'thank you' or asking for directions. It was mostly just stupid things.

«

"Okay. Teach me some phrases, Marsh." Richie said.

"What do you want to know?"

"Hm..." He thought it over. "Tell me how to say 'My cock is very large', so I can say it to Eddie."

Beverly smacked him on the forehead, "I'm not telling you that. Eddie already hates you."

Richie fell back in the grass, groaning. Beverly sighed and leaned down to tell him in his ear.

"This french shit is confusing."

"I said that about english. You Americans are very funny people."

Richie snickered, leaning over to look at what Eddie was reading. Eddie turned his head and leaned away, grimacing at him. "Éloigne-toi de moi."

"Have no clue what that means."

"He said 'Get away from me'."

"No-can-do, Eddie."

Eddie shot him a look and flipped him off, scooting away from him.

"Uhh... Eddie." Eddie turned his head and raised his eyebrows. "Ma bite est très grosse." He said in a seductive tone, wiggling his eyebrows.

Eddie pursed his lips, leaning in close to Richie's face and narrowing his eyes.

"Je sais... Je l'avais remarqué." Eddie said, and Richie moved his head back, face burning.

"Did he just agree with me?" He turned to Beverly, and she just shrugged her shoulders and laughed.

"Tu es énervant, Richard." Eddie said, not looking up from his book.

"You sound so sexy when you say my name. Say it again." Eddie just looked at him blankly, those big eyes just staring into his, nearly looking directly into his soul.

"I thought you learn english in school, here." Richie said, looking back at Beverly. She just shrugged her shoulders, "I guess Eddie just didn't care too much about it." She smirked a bit and Richie watched as Eddie shut his book and laid down in the grass, folding his hands over his stomach.
