The crowd was really starting to get anxious, then we heard the sounds of guitars and drums playing, and the opening to We Stitch These Wounds started to play. the curtain to the stage dropped and the whole band was there. Jake and Jinxx both on guitars, Ashley with his bass, CC rocking out on the drums, and Andy as he began to sing. You kissed the lips of evil, two months it all the same! he started to sing. The whole crowd was cheering and singing along. and thank god Lauren was there to help me stand up or else i would have fallen over in the crowd. They finished the song and the crowd went wild! Me and Lauren were screaming at the top of our lungs with excitement.

They played through alot of songs on the We stitch these wounds album and on the Set the World on Firealbum. It was amazing. I cried when they played Saviour because that was my favorite song by them and i swear Andy was looking right at me when he sang it. Andy came to the front of the stage. “You know, earlier tonight, we had some trouble,” he started to say, “a young girl in the audience was attacked tonight.” I started to blush, because some people next to me started to stare. “How many of you worried and prayed that she wasn’t seriously hurt?” Andy asked the crowd. And the entire venue cheered and roared. In my mind i was thinking wow, these people actually cared? Damn.

Andy continued to talk: “well when i was cleaning her cuts, she told me that she wanted to sing a song with us one day, and i think that this is the song to let her come up and sing, what do you guys think?” the crowd cheered even more. Then Andy looked straight at me. He knelt down and looked straight at me. “What do you say Virginia? Do you want to?” he asked. the people around me was was saying things like “do it, go on! we want to hear you!” Andy held out is hand to me. I couldn’t believe that this was happening! I was actually about to live my dream and sing with Andy! i smiled big and nodded saying yes i would. One of the security guards around the stage helped me out of the crowd. and i took Andy’s hand and he helped me up on stage.

Andy held the microphone to his side so he could talk to me. “Felling better?” he asked. “I feel great.” i said. we both turned to the crowd and Andy talked into the microphone. “Alright, so this lovely young lady here is named Virginia, and we are all going to sing The Morticians Daughter for you, hows about that?” he said. The whole crowd went nuts. My heart started to beat really fast. I never sang in front of this many people before. Andy looked at me. “You ready?” he said and smiled. That smile made the whole venue disappear, it was like it was just us on stage. i nodded, and the music started to play.

We sang in a pattern. He sang first and then i sang.

Andy: I open my lungs dear, i sing this song at funerals no rush, these lyrics heard a thousand times just plush. Then he handed me the microphone.

Me: A baby boy you’ve held so tightly this pain it visits almost nightly, missing hotel beds i feal your whole touch. Me and Andy both smiled and i gave the mic back to him.

Andy: I will await dear, a patience of eternity my crush. he gave me the mic.

Me: a universal still, no rust. and gave him the mic

Andy: no dust will ever grow on this frame, one million years and i will say your name, i love you more than i could ever scream. When he said that last line, he was looking at me right in the eyes. we both sang the chorus together: We booked our flight, those years ago. i said i loved you as i left you. regrets still haunt my hallow head, but i promised you that i will see you again. We were both singing while looking into each others eyes. it was amazing. We sang the rest of the song in the same pattern.

When we got to the end of the song, when we were both singing the part that goes, Again, again, again. Im home again, we were both smiling and the crowd went insane when we were finished. i looked around the stage and the whole band’s jaws were on the ground. i was blushing. Andy gave me a huge hug and he whispered something in my ear. “meet me behind the venue at 12.” i agreed to meet him. we turned toward the crowd and he gestured to me and the whole crowd went insane. i blushed even more. i took a quick little bow and Andy helped me off the stage. when i was back in the crowd he blew me a little kiss.
