Thank god you left to find your siblings some seats before the next event began. You actually found them the best seats, better than the ones you first put them in. Present Mic had some-how convinced Aizawa to let them stay in their box stand and watch.
The reason why you were so thankful it took so long, was due to the fact the girls were in cheer outfits after being tricked by Mineta and Denki."I watch these finals every year, and now I'm in them!" Kirishima said, excited.
"So wait, is it always a tournament?" Mina asked, still in the cheer outfit.
"The finals is always a one-on-one competition, but they shake it up every year. Last year it was a foam sword battle." Sero explained.
"Come closer and draw lots to see who your up against." Midnight held up a yellow box. "And then enjoy the pleasure of extra games before we start."
"The 16 finalist have the option of participating or sitting out and prepare for battle, I'm sure you all want to preserve your stamina. I'll start with the first place team-"
"Um...excuse me." Ojiro raised his hand, looking at the ground. "Sorry, but I'm withdrawing."
Everyone around gasped. It was actually quite loud for such a quite noise. Everyone looked at him confused.
"But Ojiro, no way."
"This is a rare chance to get scouted." Iida told him.
"It just wouldn't be right, I barely remember anything from the last battle until the very end of it. I, think it was that guys quirk."
You looked over at Shinsou, who turned away from you, looking at the other side.
"I know this is a great opportunity, but my conscious won't let me take advantage of it."
"Think about this." Midoriya tried to reason with him.
"I have okay? Everyone gave their all in round two, but was just someone's puppet. No way, I don't have to advance if I don't even know how I got here. It wouldn't be fair." Ojiro said.
Maybe I should have done something instead of reasoning with Shinsou and agreeing with it. Crap, look what I did, I ruined a really good chance for him.
"Just think about this, just kill it in the finals and prove you should be here."
"Yeah, what she said. I didn't do much in the battle either." Mina says, trying to hype him up.
Ojiro face palmed. "That's not it...I'm talking about my pride here."
Be who you are, for your PRIIDEE- No, not a time for that.
"I refuse to give that up...also, why are all the girls dressed like cheerleaders?"
"Well now, here's another weird turn of events." Present Mic said.
"We'll have to see what Midnight says about all this, she's the one in charge."
Everyone looked to Midnight who was thinking about the decsion.
"This sort of talk is very Naïve, my boy." She cracked her whip. "That turns me on! Ojiro! You re withdrawn."
Did she just say it turns her on??
As Midnight cracked her whip once more, she directed towards the screen. All the battle coming up showed. Before you even looked at the screen to find your name, a wave of anxiety washed over you. You've fought people from time to time, but other than the villains, they were puny and weak. Now, you would be fighting against your peers who've trained for moments like this. And to make it better, your siblings were watching.
You looked to find your name.
Shinsou, Midoriya, Todoroki, Sero, Mina...Y/n. Mina is my opponent then.
"I'm going to melt your butt!" Mina said, pointing over to you.
"No hard feelings?" You asked your friend.
"Only if you get me Mochi after this, winner or loser!" Mina says, raising an eye brow.
"Deal."
"Alright! Let's press paused and start to fun games!" Present Mic said.
You weren't going to join in on those games. You've used your quirk a lot already, so you needed to rest. Pins and needles were lightly racing across your skin. You needed to massage the hell out of your body.
You found yourself a room to yourself and sat down. You kicked off your shoes and rubbed your feet, it felt weird, but the pins and needles slowly went away. You washed your hands before touching your skin again. You massaged your shoulder blades when the door kicked open.
You turned around to see Bakugo standing there.
"What the hell are you doing in here?!" He said, looking down on you.
"I got in here first, if you want a room to yourself, go find another one." You say, looking back to your shoulder.
"What the hell are you doing?" He asked.
Your mom. "I'm fixing my self before the battle. My body gets pins and needles when I over use my quirk. If it gets bad, I go numb."
"Sucks to be you."
You gave him a look.

"Our competitor are on their own now, sometimes heroes only have themselves to rely on." Present Mic announced, he started the battle. "Heart, skill, strength, wisdom, courage! They'll have to use all these to be able to win."
"Alright audience! Let's cut to the good stuff and not delay these finals any longer! Welcome out first fighters! Woah, he looks kinda scared in that picture, doesn't he? It's Izuku Midoriya from the Hero Course! Versus! Hitoshi Shinsou from General studies!"
As you made your way to where the rest of the class was located, you saw Ojiro. You quickly walked over to him.
"Ojiro!" You say, making his head turn over his shoulder. "I want apologised. Before the battle started, somehow I was unbrianwashed by Shinsou after someone bumped into me! I swear I did try to convince him to stop using his quirk on you, but I should have tried harder! I'm sorry, you could have went into the finals if it weren't for me..." You say, bowing to him.
You stared at the ground, half bent. Thankfully, Ojiro was sitting at the back, so no one was behind you to look. Ojiro's hand found its way to your shoulder.
"It's okay."
"What?" You looked up now, why the hell was he so calm with it.
"As long as you tried to convince him, its okay. I know that your not a bad person, if you trusted his judgment enough to agree with him, then I wouldn't blame you, or anyone else, for the fact that I'm not going to the finals, it was my own choice."
"But-"
"Seriously, you don't have to worry about it. There is no need to apologise. Now, sorry to cut this short, but I have to make sure Midoriya wins this battle." Ojiro says, you nod and he turns back to the stadium.
Looking out across the seats on the stadium for your class, most people were distant to Bakugo. Back in middle school, the same thing happened to you and that never felt good. You walked over to Bakugo and chose the seat next to him.
"What the hell do you want?" He said, glancing over to you.
"This seat." I swear haven't we already had this conversation.
He let out a 'tch' and looked back to the stadium. He honestly didn't really care of Midoriya won or lost, but if he lost, he wanted to see that. Denki soon came over and sat behind Bakugo.
"The battle begins!" Present Mic announced.
