CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE!
"She didn't tell you?"

TW: mentions of drug and alcohol abuse, manic episodes & personality/mental disorders.

       The dinner went on for a while, pretty late into the night. Your family could party for hours without a break, especially when there's alcohol involved. You ended up going back to your mom's BnB with your aunt, she wanted you to stay with her for the night. You enjoyed yourself though, the trip was off to a very good start. Until you woke up sick the next morning.

     You hadn't gotten morning sickness in a while, not since you first started birth control. You were still on birth control, so you weren't worried about being pregnant at all, you figured it was just the alcohol.

     "Mija," your mother hummed, brushing your hair out of your face. She sat down a mug of warm tea, and sat next to you on the bed. "¿Te sientes ya mejor?"

You shook your head, "Still nauseous."

     She slowly nodded, rubbing your shoulder. "¿Se lo dijiste a Eren?"

       You nodded, "He's on his way over." You sat up in bed, and took a sip of the tea she made.

      "Pídale que se haga una prueba de embarazo," she told you. You furrowed your eyebrows, almost choking on your tea.

       "Mama, I'm not pregnant," you replied. "I'm on birth control."

     "Yo también lo era, cuando tuve a tu hermano," she shrugged. Your eyes widened, and you immediately assumed Kayden.

     "I think it was just the alcohol, I don't drink often," you explained. "I'm not pregnant."

     "Still," she said, standing up, taking the empty mug. "Test."
