William's POV:
Groaning in annoyance, I dropped into my seat and looked around disinterestedly. It was a day like any other in my college. I sat in the room with twenty-nine other people studying engineering, an area I was particularly interested in, eventually building small robots at home and aspiring to build life-size animatronic figures as well. But in my class, the same thing was repeated over and over again because no one understood anything.
That's why I often deal with my sketches during the lessons. I revised them, added information or designed new characters. So far I've finished a rabbit, a bear, a fox, a chicken and of course the endoskeleton.
I was working on another dressable rabbit when suddenly someone burst into the room. It was Henry, the only one who already knew as much about programming and building as I did.
"I'm sorry, but we overslept," he gasped, pulling his girlfriend behind him. I snorted. Henry and Jelena lived together in a rented apartment not far from my own.
The two were the definition of a dream relationship. Everything they did seemed scripted and planned. In a way, that pissed me off. But basically I was just jealous because there was a good chance I had feelings for the man who was about to sit down in front of me.
I couldn't help myself but smile at the sight of Henry's wild hair and fought the urge to tousle it. "Hey," I whispered and Henry turned to me. "Hm?" I smiled. "Your hair looks a little... wild. May I?" I asked, already holding out my hand. "Oh what? Y-yes, sure." I smiled and ran my fingers through Henry's hair, straightening it. They were really incredibly fluffy and soft. "Okay, done," I laughed softly. "Thanks," Henry smiled.
We looked ech other in our eyes for an incredibly long moment before Henry blushed and quickly looked away.
Tch.

Henry's POV:
I looked into William's eyes for far too long that I finally looked away, blushing. If I kept staring at him like that, he'd probably call me weird. No man looks his best friend so deeply in the eyes.
I sighed and turned to my teacher. I just sat there for an agonizingly long time, listening with half an ear. William and I stopped talking and Jelena also seemed to be concentrating on the lesson. So I got lost in thought, as I often did. There weren't many things I was thinking about right now. There was only Jelenas and my relationship, because slowly but surely we parted. The things we did seemed artificial and became more and more uncomfortable. It was clear that both she and I were becoming increasingly dissatisfied, not even having more sex, which according to the study should improve the relationship. I was always unsure whether I should break up or not. That would happen sooner or later, but somehow I wanted to delay the ending.
I put my head on the table when William suddenly nudged me.
"Hey Hen," he whispered. I raised my head again and looked at him, avoiding his gray-blue eyes. "Want to go eat something? You don't have to if you don't want to," William asked. "Yes, of course. But we have to go to my place first, I don't have any money with me."
Smiling broadly, he just nodded.-
William's POV:
Henry and I left the building together. "Where's Jelena?" I asked since she wasn't at Henry's side to which she usually clung. "She goes shopping with friends. So we have the whole evening to ourselves," he smiled.
'All evening?'I nodded. "Come on then, if you're going to have a girls-free night, you should take advantage of it, right?" Henry giggled and I started walking. "Wrong direction, you idiot," he laughed even more. He took my hand and pulled me behind him. In a way, it hurt that he didn't know how I felt as we weaved through the crowd together. But what should I do? He was happy with his girlfriend, not with me.
As we walked along the street, I looked at him, as I often do.
The little stubble on his chin, his curved lips and straight nose. The black glasses behind which his dark brown eyes always shone. I smiled unnoticed when Henry suddenly looked at me too. I quickly averted my gaze. Man. What was he supposed to think when I kept staring at him like that? I don't want him to think I'm in love with him. Even if that's the point.
"Will, we're here," he snapped me out of my absence. "Hm?" I looked around. We both stood in front of a white apartment with a black pitched roof. A small hedge with other flowers grew under the windows. In fact, I had never been to his place. Well, normally Jelena was always there.
Henry pulled his hand away from mine to get his key out of his pocketand unlock the door.
"Always in." Continuing to look around, I entered the apartment and stood in a parquet floor with small pictures on the walls, which mainly showed Henry and Jelena.
"I'm just looking for my things, okay? Sit down in the living room." Henry pointed to a door on the right side of the hall. I walked towards it, opened the door and saw a large, comfortable sofa, which I immediately dropped onto. To my right was an open kitchen with a small dining table.
"Okay, I'd better take a quick shower," I heard Henry call from somewhere, "get something out of the fridge, something to drink or whatever." I sighed. "But do it fast!" I replied.
Then the noise of the shower started. I got up and walked over to the fridge. There wasn't much, so I just grabbed the half-empty bottle of Coke and found a glass. Luckily for me there were a few rinsed ones in the drainer by the sink. I sauntered over to the couch, sat back down and took a sip.I sat there for a while, snuggled up on the sofa, sipping my coke now and then, when Henry came into the room with wet hair and only a towel tied around his hips.
I choked in shock and coughed loudly while blushing bright red. Henry looked at me questioningly. "You can't just walk in here naked!" I gasped. "Why not?" he asked. "Well, because..." I started, but I couldn't think of a suitable excuse, so I just kept coughing. Henry walked over to me and patted my back, which made things worse. His body covered in water droplets was way too close and I felt like I was starting to overheat. To make matters worse, I felt blood rush into a certain spot. I quickly leaned forward and crossed my arms in front of it.
Are you okay?" Henry asked when my coughing had subsided. I just nodded and stared straight ahead. "Good."
Slowly I looked at him and at his upper body. Henry was rather slim built, but his abs were still showing. His chest was flat, rising and falling with each breath he took. I looked at his face, still blushing, but got caught by the hickeys on his neck. When Henry turned back to leave, I also noticed the scratches that stood out red.
"You and Jelena must have had a wild night, huh?" I smirked. Now Henry was the one blushing looking at me. "Y-yes, you could say that," he replied, scratching the back of his head.
'The stains could have been mine...' I thought jealously, turning my head away when I realized what I had just thought.
"Well then... let's just go, okay?"

I think it's great that my search history now includes the question of whether sex actually makes the relationship better ._.
