Imitation is the act of copying something.
Our youth today now form the habit of imitating others. Let me use, for instance, one of your friends is a musician that sings very well. He owns a song and then you start to copy and forge the song in your own way. Which is not the right thing to do. Everybody knows that the person is the real owner of that song so if you imitate that person it will be of no use to you. That can only get you money but not ownership.
We should always try to make out something new our own way. At times people say because my friend is a writer, I want to be a writer too. Which is not the right thing to consider. Talent, gifts, and dreams matter. Unfortunately, it might not work for you, you might end up being frustrated and that person you are imitating excelling. You will ask yourself what is wrong? It might not be good for you because is not your area of calling. In my own point of view, we should be creative and make out something else. This is because when we keep on repeating things of the old, we make out anything new. Imitating others does not make any sense because they have done their own part of what they are supposed to do. So is now left for you to do your own part make out something else or something personal.
