The Librarian pt. 2

George shut down the computer and gathered his things. He grabbed his phone, his keys, two books, and a sticky note. He left the library and locked the doors after a wonderful night at work. As he walks to his car he smiles at the sticky note with Dream's phone number on it.

When George got to his dorm room, he sat at his desk and drew a few hearts on the sticky note as he ate his dinner. His heart would flutter as he thought about texting him or going on a date with him. He got to excited and decided that he couldn't wait until tomorrow to text him. He grabbed his phone.

George
Hey, this is George, the librarian. I just got off of work and was wondering when you wanted to get coffee?

As soon as he hit send he turned his phone off and threw it across the room onto his bed. He covered his face thinking that it was a bad idea to text him this late at night.

Ding!

Oh my god. Oh my god. That was the phone. He actually texted back right away.

George jumped up from the desk and hopped onto his bed. He turned on the phone and the notification popped up: Message from Dream ❤.

Dream
I was hoping you would text right away. Are you free tomorrow morning?

George
Yeah, I'm free all day.

Dream
Me too. We can hang out at my dorm afterwards if you want.

George
That would be cool.

Dream
I'll meet you at the Starbucks next to the library. Is 10:00 okay?

George
I'll be there.

George set an alarm clock right away to wake up early to shower and meet Dream.

The next day...

George sat at a table inside the Starbucks next to the library. George looks at his phone to see it is 9:52 am. Just then the door to the shop opens up and George looks up to see Dream enter it.

Dream looks around and when his eyes land on George, he smiles and walks towards him.

"It's good to see you, George."

"It's good to see you too." George smiles back at him, "Let's get our drinks."

They walk to the counter and meet with the barista.

"Hi, welcome to Starbucks. My name is Niki. What can I get started for you two today?"

George looked over to Dream, "You can go first."

Dreams eyes darted back and forth around the menu. He looked confused for a moment and then started to laugh to himself.

"Uh, actually, can I tell you something?" Dream looked to George.

"What?"

"I don't like coffee. I just wanted to ask you out and I could only think to ask you out for coffee."

George laughed and turned to the barista, "I think we aren't going to be having coffee today."

"Sorry." Dream said to the barista and George.

They both turned around to leave, "How about we hang out at your dorm instead? "

Dream nodded his head.

They each took their own cars to meet at Dream's dorm.

When they enter, George notices that it looks clean and tidy. Little does he know that Dream stayed up for hours last night to clean just for George to come over. He doesn't want to mess this up.
