date night [pt. 5]

3rd person pov:

It was a warm Saturday. It was winter so The Walton's and y/n had to enjoy it while they could. They also had to try and forget everything that happened a couple of days ago.

"Let's go to the park!" Daelo suggested jumping up and down. "Sounds good to me." Mrs. Walton said getting up. "Daelo, come on let's get ready." Mrs. Walton said walking upstairs.

"Lammmee." Javon said. Y/n smacked his arm. "What if y/n didn't think it was lame?" Jayla asked rolling her eyes. Javon scoffed. "It wouldn't be lame anymore." Javon said jokingly. "If you guys are staying here then that's you. We'll probably be gone for a while." Mr. Walton said going upstairs.

"Mhm.." Jaden said. "You all are weird so... I'm leaving. Come on y/n." Javon said standing up. "What if I don't want to?"  Y/n said looking up. Javon had a sorry look on his face. "Don't feel bad I was joking." Y/n got up and her and javon both went upstairs.

As they entered javons room they  just stood  behind the closed door awkwardly.
"Ok stop acting like we just met." Y/n said putting her arm around one of his shoulders and laying her head on the other.
"Yeah yeah." Javon said putting his arm around Y/ns waist. They walked over to Javons bed and sat down "Let's go somewheree!! It's so warm out side!" Y/n said.

"Actually.. there is something I have been wanting to ask you.. cus.. ya know.. we are dating and all." Javon said looking over at y/n. "Ok??.." she said waiting for an answer.

"Do you wanna... go out? On a date night?" He said hesitantly.  "Lol sure." Y/n said. "Great! Wanna go to the movies?" He asked. "Yesss."-- "Alright! You can get ready first. You would take the longest." --"I don't! Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I take forever."

Y/ns pov:

I took a 30 minute shower and put on some light makeup. It wasn't even a long time. But javon complained about it.

"See, took you 90 years and only took me 5 minutes." He said putting his shoes on. "Anyway.. who's even taking us to the movies?" I said getting up. "Jayla." -- "you ask?"-- "no.."

This dude.. "Alright guys we will be back later!" Mr. Walton yelled. Me and javon ran downstairs in a rush. "Jayla.. can you uh.. take us to the movies? Please!" Javon begged.. "I mean I guess.." Jayla said putting on her slides. "Wait.. so I'ma be here all alone?" Jaden asked. "I mean I guess? Don't burn the house down." Jayla said. She wasn't even joking.

time skip. We arrived at the movies. Jayla told us to be safe exedra. We went to go see (movie of your choice). We payed for  our tickets and got snacks.

We went into the movie room as the trailers (I think that's what they are..?) ended. dang. right on time.  As the movie began, javon yawned and put his arm around my shoulder.. classic.

When the movie was over we texted Jayla to come pick us up. When she pulled up we both got into the car. I put my legs over his. "Y/n you know I hate that." Javon said looking at me.  I knew he always enjoys it tbh. I gave him a kiss and he held my hand.

When we got back to the house we obviously went up to Javons room. "I just love hanging out with you." Javon said looking over at me smiling. "I love it too. I said smiling back. "Ya know... The sun is setting and besides it's still warm out.. wanna go swimming in the back yard?" I suggested. He agreed and so we did.

We had so much fun that day. It was filled with laughter, splashes, kisses, and more.

"Oww! I think you hit me to hard!" I said pretending to cry.  Javon swam over to me. We were playing tag in the water. "Oh no ma, I didn't mean to!" Javon said sadly. He was about to get out of the pool to help me up until I tagged him. "Hah! Thanks for caring about me by the way!" I said hysterically laughing and quickly getting out of the pool. I ran into the house and javon chased after. "Y/n! Come back here!" Javon yelled. "Guys! Your getting the house wet!" Mrs. Walton yelled. "I'm so sorry!" I said stopping and turning around.

"Thank you y/n. Now can you and Javon please clean all of your guy's water tracks up of of the fl-" -- "Ahhh!" Javon hugged me from behind, picking me up. Until he slipped with me in his arms. He slipped from all of the water that was everywhere. "Javon!" Mrs. Walton yelled. "Sorry y/n.. sorry mom.." Now we were stuck cleaning up even more than the water. We were freezing. "Y/n.. Javon..  you guys can stop now. Go upstairs and get to bed. Or whatever." Mrs. Walton said. "I can finally stop scrubbing these counters!" Javon yelled rushing upstairs. I followed him.

We got dried off and changed out of our swimming suits/trunks and into pajamas.  "I can't believe you fell with me in your arms. I knew it would happen," I said over exaggerating it. "Yeah whatever just come over here and cuddle with me. I'm cold" Javon said.
