*Malachi's POV*

I don't like my brother for many things, but when I saw what he was doing to Ariella and saw that she was crying.. .

I couldn't stand the idea that someone was hurting her. I ran trough the open door of my house to across the street when Aaron was shaking Ariella and screaming at her.

I grabbed Aaron from behind the neck and screamed "Let-go-of-her!" He jumped 3 feet on the air, letting go of Ariella he turned to face me, by the look in his face he looked like he was gonna punch me. Before he could act, I punched him in the face and he fell to the floor knocking himself out.

My attention went back to Ariella, only to find her eyes closed. After a couple of minutes she opened her eyes and her beautiful brown eyes found mine. "You ok?" She seemed distracted, like she was still trying to processed what happened. "Umm, I'm fine... I think" a couple of minutes passed before she added

" Did you heard what happened?" She still had that look in her face, that made me want to hug her and never let go. "Not really, I just saw the way he was treating you and came here to teach him a lesson" my gaze lingered back to my unconscious brother.

"What did you do to him! Is he breathing?!" She screamed with panic in her voice." Relax, he only knocked himself out when he fell" I wasn't actually lying to her... " And how exactly did he fell?" Busteeeed! I fell the smile in my face before I could even stop it.

"I might have punched him in the face..."i mentally prepared myself for her screams but what I didn't expect was her sudden laughter. " omg! You punched him! Thats soooo f*cking awesome! Can we wake him and do it again?"

We both started laughing at her comment, after a couple of minutes of laughing so hard I was crying, I decided to ask her out again.

"Do you wanna do something today?" I asked, suddenly nervous that she would say no. "What do you have in mind?"

Relief washed over me like a wave sweat happiness. She said yes, does that means she likes me? "How about we go watch a movie?" The theater was only 20 minutes away and we still had time to catch the movie at noon. "What about school? Wouldn't we get in trouble if we skip classes?" Was she seriously talking about school? You'v got to be kidding me!

"Well, me being a senior , I don't have any problems with that!, but you surely think its more important that watching a movie with me?" She would surely pick me over school, right...?

" Well, Im not a senior and school is only starting... I don't think that would be a good idea..." What?! " but... Sure! I can go see a movie with you. Would this count as a date? Our second date?"

She opened the door of her car and sat in the drivers seat, signaling for me to clime in. "What movie would you like to c?" I asked, hoping it was not a chick flick or a horror movie... " Theres this movie called Hansel and Gretel witch hunters... Its an action movie... Maybe we can watch that one? What's your favorite kind of movies?"

Ariella turned to see my expression and I suddenly felt scared for our safety, she was looking at me while driving. "Can you plis keep your eyes on the road? I don't wanna end up dead! And yes that movie does sound great. As for the answer of your question, my favorite movies are action movies. They make me want to jump from my seat and start kong-fu fight the "enemies" or chairs " she started laughing so hard it was actually scary...

She sounded like and angel from above... She was so beautiful... "Kong-fu fight them? You fucking serious? Omg I think I'm gonna die from laughter! Jajajajajajaja... I jajajaja cant jajajaja stop jajajajaja laughing jajajaja! "Im glad I helped you distract your mind from what happened earlier" she looked at me with so much appreciation it melted my heart.

" Thank you for that, maybe I need to have you around more often." She gave me her genuine smile... Wow "Maybe you will"
