*Malachi's POV*

As I made my way out of her house the only thing I could do so I didn't turn around and hug her and never let go was think that I knew I was gonna see her again tomorrow.

It hurt to be away from her. The only thing I wanted to do all day is being near her and hold her. But tonight I had something important to do.

Once a week I had to go spread my wings so they wouldn't affect me. If I spend to much time without stretching them that would cause me serious pain. So once a week me and my dad would go to the mountains and spread our wings. I was a third generation angel.

Actually I was only half angel. My mother was human, but my father was also half angel. My great great great grandfather was an angel and he married a human so his children and they're children after them were gonna be half angel / human.

I opened the door of my house and found my dad watching tv on the living room. "Dad you ready to go stretch our wings?" My father unlike me had small white wings.

My wings where bigger that the ones of the other members of my family. There where also as black as night. Black wings where extremely rare. Only 1 in 10,000 angels had black wings.

Not all angels with black wings where bad. Black wings had a meaning, the angels who had black wings where supposed to prevent a big disaster. Something that would affect the humans and ruin the peace.

"Yeah lets go, but we gotta hurry cause I have a date" " you have a date?really?with who?" I couldn't believe what he was telling me. My dad had a date? Who's the poor women?

"Weeeeell ... Ummmm ... Its actually yourgirlfriend'smother!" He shouted the last part so I couldn't understand it. " say that again?" He was nervous and wad actually blushing.

"Deborah Carrow" he muttered " YOU'RE DATING MY GIRLFRIEND'S MOTHER?!?!" I shouted, no fucking way! "Yes, do you have a problem with it?" He asked suddenly turning serious " Nah, I mean its gonna get a bit awkward but..."

He suddenly smiled and looked like everything was perfect in his life. " dad is there something you wanna tell me?" " Malachi, you know that I loved your mother right?" " yeah I know dad... Whats this about?" Something smelled fishy here... "Deborah is my life partner" noooo way "Say what?"
