I was waiting for the first boy group to come. We decided that I'll have to spend 6 hours a day with each group. Stray Kids was the first group to meet me 'cause I was originally their manager. Me and my Colleague, Seo Jun were waiting for the group to show up and to my surprise, they showed up at the same time I thought about it. Here it comes 6 hours with 8 guys.
" Annyeong gaseyo, Stray Kids immnida. ( from Christmas Evel 😂) " each of them bowed as they stepped into the room. I wasn't used to it so I tried to stop them.
" I heard that you came from Argentina, is that true? " The tallest guy questioned.
" Yes. I'm Kim Dal-Rae, your new manager. Nice to meet you. " I smiled at them.
" I'm Hyunjin. Hwang Hyunjin. "
" Bang Chan. The leader of the group. Christopher Bang. "
" Lee Felix. " His deep voice was quet impressive.
" I know, you know, Lee know " the guy showed hearts with his fingers making me smile.
" I'm Han. "
" Changbin. "
" I.N " The youngest, I think spoke.
" Annyeong, I'm Suengmin. " This one was indeed cute.
" Nice to meet you all. As you probably heard we have a problem, so I'll be with you just 6 hours a day. " I spoke.
" It should be 12 hours, right? " Han I guess asked.
" Yes. But to my luck I got two groups. " I slightly laughed.
We finished our conversation after an hour and headed to the studio. The guys wanted to show me their performance. I was impressed by their good dancing and singing skills. I've seen a lot of celebrities, but where they sing and dance at the same time, that was impressive. We spent 6 hours getting along. They were fun people, but chaotic as well. I understand why they needed two managers. Those people were crazy.
I bit my goodbyes to each one of them and got into the car. It was the time for me to meet the other group, but this time I felt something off. I shrugged my thoughts off and started driving to the building where the band lived. I heard that there should be a few nights when I'll need to sleep with them at the same house. My car stopped in front of a white building. A house. I parked my car and went out of the car. In front of the door was standing a guy, probably a member. I approached him and he politely greeted me.
" Come inside. We were waiting for you. " He smiled and I made my way inside the house.
" As a 5 member group you're pretty good at cleaning. " I laughed. He chuckled at my words and led me to the living room.
" It's just the 4 of us. Our oldest member went a grocery shopping. " I just nodded in response.
" I'm Young K, by the way. " He introduced himself and we finally reached the other 3 guys. I heard that only two of them can speak English fluently.
" Hello, new manager! " they sheepishly greeted probably teasing me.
" Hello, old band. " I wiggled my eyebrows.
" I'm Sungjin, the leader of the group. " A guy with a smile spoke.
" Hello, I'm Wonpil. " The other one with dark brown hair introduced himself.
" Dowoon. " This guy was a bit shy, but I knew that we will get along. I was no different.
Young K showed me their house. It was big. The house had 6 rooms and 3 bathrooms. There were a few pictures on the walls and a few arts. The kitchen was built for more than 5 people, so that was good. I got to know that they are a rock group. Wonpil said that he's pretty good at playing the keyboard, Dowoon was a drummer, Young K was the one who played Bass and the other two were playing with guitars.
" I guess your 5th member got lost in the supermarket. " I looked at smiling Young K and he immediately took his phone. The poor guy wasn't even able to put his phone to his ear when the door burst open.
" I'm home! " A very familiar voice spoke. We all stood up to greet the last member of the DAY6 group. A tall figure made his way to the living room. " Has our guest already come? " his voice. To the bones familiar voice. I hoped that it's not going to be the one that has never left my mind for the past few years. I guess it was my unlucky day 'cause in front of me now stood Jae Park himself. I could feel my blood boiling while watching his stupid and shocked face.
" This is our oldest member Park J- " Sungjin couldn't finish his sentence as I spoke.
" Long time no see, Jae. " There was anger all over my body who could kill the person standing in front of me. He looked at me with a confused yet sad expression and I was satisfied.
" R-ae? " He stuttered still not believing that the person he has hurt the most in his life is now standing in front of him as his new temporary manager.
" The one and only Dal-Rae in your life. " My eyes couldn't stop watching him with a disgusted look on my face. I was in pure disgust as a person like him got to enter my life ever again.
" You...Know each other? " Wonpil was watching us and probably thinking what the hell is going on here.
" Yeah, Jaehyung. Do we know each other? " I looked back at him. He froze in his place. How pathetic. Wasn't he the bravest when he said those 'beautiful' words to me in that park on my most hated bench?
" Well, we used to go to the same school. " Jae was lost. For the first time in my life, I saw that he had no words.
" And that's all? We were just schoolmates? Wow. You did change a lot after that day. " My anger was speaking replacing my true self. The guys were watching the scene with concern.
" Can we talk in private? They're going to misunderstand. " Jae pleaded. Oh, come on beg as I did.
" Don't you think that they should know what kind of a person are you? You're the biggest jerk I have ever met. There are a lot more words than I could describe you, but I think it would be bad for me to swear. " I glared at him. He bit his inner cheek before dragging me out of the living room. I struggled to make him let go of my wrist. I accidentally got deja vu and it was the worst thing I could have had now.
" Let go of me, you bastard. " I grinned my teeth as he pushed me into the room and locked the door.
" Shh. " He shushed me. How dare he?
" You better unlock the door and let me go. " I glared at him once more.
" No. We have unfinished business and we need to talk about it. " I just laughed sarcastically at him.
" We have nothing to talk about. You yourself said that you're tired of being a part of my life and I ruined your last school year. "
" Why can't you just shut up and listen? " The cheerful Jae I knew has turned into a very terrifying person.
" Because I don't want to. I begged for you to pick up my calls, I begged for you to explain, I begged for you to tell me what's the matter, but you just changed your number and went all the way here to Korea. So now you wanna talk? I'm sorry to break it to you, but your time has passed 5 years ago. "
