Afterdeath one shots

Apocalypse 3

"G..get off... Geno." I plea. I could feel his tongue run over my neck to lick up blood that had spilt. I try to pull him off of me, freezing when he let off a small moan like sound. A chill went up my spine. Eventually he passed out again.

I move him off of me as thoughts flooded my head. 'What's gonna happen? Is he one of those?' I move away placing my hand on my neck. I can't let anyone know. I quickly go to the bathroom and patch myself up. I make sure it's cover then go back to Geno. He's still sleeping. I quickly clean up the blood and put him in the bed before going out of the room to retrieve my weapons.

"Reaper." Red calls.

I turn to him my heart racing. 'Are they gonna know, is it covered?' Thoughts raced through my head.

"How's he doing?" He asks looking away and crosses his arms.

"Oh, he's asleep. I don't know if he'll be normal when he wakes up or not. If he is maybe be a bit nicer to him. He did just save our lives after all." I state. My neck feels numb.

"I'll think about it." He mutters. Sci comes around the corner and takes Red away.

'They're so fucking' I snicker to myself rolling my eyes. I look back at the stairs before picking up my weapons. Then, I go back upstairs and position myself at the door, taking out the wooden stake as I think back to the other day. What did he survive before this?

I sigh as time passed. "Reaper?" Sci says gaining my attention.

"Yes?" I ask

"I looked into it and I can see there's something in him, but I can't do much research about it without a proper lab or equipment."

"Then what do we do?" I ask.

"There's a research facility a while away. We can head there."

"What do the others think of this?"

"I haven't brought it up. I wanted to run it by you. The facility should be secured enough we could take refuge there and I can use the equipment. But it's about a weeks walk there." He says.

I think a moment. I don't even know if he'll be in his right mind to make that trip. "Let's wait til he wakes up and I'll run it by him. If he thinks he can do it I'll let you know, but with the injuries he has I don't want him to push himself."

Sci nods before leaving. I place my hand on my neck a moment sighing. I'm so fucked. I look up as there's the sound of screeching out side. I get up and blow out any candles before going downstairs as everyone does the same. Then we huddle together with our weapons drawn. It's close by, it's sounds echo through the chimney. We stay as quiet as possible watching.

Debris falls from the chimney as it goes dead silent. A creature pops out. This one a child, a skeleton. It hisses, though, doesn't seem like it can sense us. We all aim for it.

"No!" Geno yells placing himself in front of it, with his back to us.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Red asks.

"You can't kill him! I won't let you!"

"It's one of those things." Cross chimes in. "Child or not, it's dangerous."

"No. I won't lose him again. I won't let this happen, not if there's a chance we can cure it!" He says.

Him? Geno hugs the child tightly. It doesn't move, or anything. "Geno." I start

"This is my little brother."

Thought so. "What if we can't cure it?"

"I'll watch over him. I'll take care of him. Please don't."
