When I decided to go with the mature-themed for this story I known that  I was at risk of being harassed and / or insulted by certain groups of people. That's why I put the story in the mature category to avoid those who are sensitive to these topics and not to be expose to the trauma caused by its content. Today I received the above message, which if it spoke only of me would have been understandable, but it also insulted my readers who follow the story because they like it. It doesn't seem normal to me, and it's not nice for a person to go from book to book and create a scandal by saying that people are sick, psychopaths, sociopaths, etc. just because they read a certain literary genre.

Obviously I do not encourage or claim that a person should behave as I presented in the book but again it is a work of fiction! It's not real and I don't think any of the 1k readers would do what is written there. The fact that you think they are sick just because they are reading a book is not based on any argument or the root of the truth is simply an insult. If a person watches Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, From Big Order, Hetalia, Date a Live they are delayed? Is that what you mean? No, they just like a certain scenario, just as others like genres like love or detectives, it's a matter of taste. The book clearly states YANDERE, another kind of genre / psychological book, which means that it will contain violence, abuse, etc. If you don't appreciate this kind of book, you have every right not to read it, but you have no right to offend anyone for writing or reading this kind of book. It's just a book, just a work of fiction! I understand and support that we all have the right to speak freely, but not to insult people!

Wattpad as a learning community,  strive to promote mutual respect in how we interact with each other. To do this, we need to be mindful that each member of our community comes with a unique set of experiences and viewpoints, and that they hold significant weight for each of us. That's why sometimes, despite our goal of maintaining civil discourse, you may encounter expression on the site that you find offensive or unpleasant. This is an unavoidable result of everything from the protests, debates, and speakers we will encounter while we are here, to the meaningful everyday discussions you will have with friends.

Offensive speech  can be a very challenging topic to talk about. The First Amendment does not permit to regulate your speech and writings for the "wrong" opinion or belief. But guaranteeing your freedoms also means guaranteeing the freedoms of thought and expression of those with whom you most strongly disagree. As frustrating as it can be, remember that a principle that allows for the censorship of others ultimately allows those others to censor you too. My point is I would have appreciated and understood your point of view much better if you expressed yourself in a different way, using arguments, and without offending my readers. Just because they are reading a book on a psychological topic does not mean that they are all mentally disturbed or that I am mentally ill because I am writing this story. Your words, though few, hurt me so much and I decided to put this book on hold because I don't feel able to continue it if that's what the wattpad community thinks of me.
