Mirabell sigh looking at the heavy rain clouds outside, the night was a haunting one.  Encanto was dormant, but who could sleep when a monster was lurking between them? And even closer than she thinks.  She knew Pepa was asleep,  but it looked like her prominence was active even when slumbering.  That is because a raging hurricane was outside in the darkness, pouring ml of water like it was nothing.

Columbia was known for its tropical rains, but non as bad as this one. The water almost swallowed everything like a flood.

" Jeez, tia must be really worried for the others..." she said to herself resting her head on her left palm," where's Antonio? I haven't seen him since a few hours ago. Shouldn't have fallen asleep so fast. "

But she was tired, after all that drama, all she could be thinking about was her family's safety. Her dad who is in the mountains searching for answers, her tio...

She couldn't even blame Antonio for hiding! He shouldn't witness this! He was 5!

Perhaps he was in tia's room? Mirabell searched his room and the nursery yet couldn't find him. Poor Toni was probably scared to death! She has to find and calm him. She knows everyone else was doing their best to cope with the situation, same should she.

Jumping off her bed, and putting sandals on she strolled into the hallway to her tia's room. She knocked once, twice, but nothing?

Mirabell frown.

" Casita why isn't tia answering?" she asks but the house did not move. That scared Mirabell, so much that she bursts into her tia's room almost breaking the door down with her shoulder, and founds nothing. The room painted in a calming color with a clear sky above it was empty? Where was tia? Omg, where was Antonio!?

" Dolores!" she yells sprinting to her cousin's room," Dolores tia is missing! something happened with OMG!?"

Mirabel let out a cry, her legs getting soft, almost fainting she covered her mouth at the sight in front of her. Dolores was petrified, a statue of her with a wide-open  month pointing at the door with her finger. What crept Mirabel most was the fact that it felt like she was pointing at her, what happened?

" Mirabell," Alma called coming upstairs," Mirabell you are going to wake Pepa up, why are you screaming?"

" Abuela," she weeps trying to articulate a sentence, " look."

Alma squeezed her eyes trying to adapt to the darkness in Dolores's room. Then she saw it, a stone silhouette pointing stunned at them. It resembled her nice, to a point that send  chills down her spline.

" Dolores mi nina!" she rushed to cup the statue's complexion into her palms. " What is the meaning of this?! Cassita!" Alma arched a brow, the house didn't answer.

" Casita! Answer me!"  she called yet again but no sign from the magic house, she looks at Mirabel.

" It didn't answer me either, abuela. " the youngest blinked in tears.

" Whats going on? Where's Pepa!?"

" That's why I came here abuela," Mirabel tear up, " tia is not in her room.

" The miracle!" Alma pushed past her almost hitting Mirabel against the wall.

The latina rolled her eyes, how could this woman be thinking about a candle in a time like this?! Her daughters are missing, and her niece has a creepy doppelganger statue in her room.
