Eccentric Academy: Queen's Retribution [R-18]

THE FIRST NOBLE COUNCIL

It's been week since Laurain's pack stayed at Calyx's pub. They are all fine, the adults are being treated and the youngs are getting the necessities they need.

The Noble Council has been investigating the rogue attack, but seemed like someone have cleaned the mess. Like all the setting are being planted.

No one even dared to question the investigation. Except for Calyx.

Calyx didn't trust the investigation, and try to investigate for himself. Laurain is his friend after all. They're like brothers even with bickering. He's a man of promise and words after all.

Alexa is currently sitting on the corner as she watch Calyx and Laurain talk. She just listened to every word they talk. Sometimes Calyx glance at her. She just laughed by how her lord acted.

The have been talking for hour like they are making a plan.

Alexa walk towards them. "... it is realated to human race brother" Laurain said as she is getting near them.

"What about human race Laurain?" Alexa suddenly asked like dhe is part of the conversation.

"We thought rogues are mindless creatures, but our investigation says no. " Laurain said calmly. "The thing we found is, they're not that monstrous, they could have their master. I don't know how, it's been two decades since I killed my father." he added. "The thing is, there are rogues escaped the Academy and I'm afraid they're at human land." he said while his head down.

Alexa gasp as he heard what Laurain said. How on earth would escape from this special place?

"They're not really mindless after all." Alexa said. "What are you going to do? The rogues might cause chaos on human land, or they will?" she added

Calyx look at her like his planning something or he really planned something?

A sudden silence was filled in the room.

Calyx and Laurain are thinking of what else they will do when suddenly Phoenix and Vince appeared.

"We found that rogues does not hide, they can stand the hit of the sun even without wearing a moon ring. They're not really brainless monsters. They can be someone's pawn." Phoenix said looking at Vince who is currently letting them see what Phoenix mean. He's a wolf vampire, a hybrid."Still their bite are lethal to us vampire, wolves wizards and shifter even human. The only antidote is their blood... " he added "Am I right, Calyx?" Phoenix ask, that made Laurain's brows crossed.

"I've been doing experiments, I only found it out when Laurain came here rushing, he became the first one I treated." Calyx explained

"I thought we are brothers but why did you hide all your experiments?" Laurain said, among the three Laurain is the one who really treasure their brotherhood.

Calyx then look at Laurain. "I don't want to lose a family."

"You wouldn't lose us brother we atr bind remember?" Laurain replied. "" Except death." he's mouth form in "O" when he realize that Calyx mean was the attack and the damage he got. "I see you're not sure, that is why you hid it first." he then said

"Since the attack happened, I'm more eager to study rogue. Maybe with your help, I can do this, this time. " Calyx said looking at Phoenix and Laurain.

"I agree with you brother" Phoenix said, among the three Phoenix had live for Century, he might sometimes arrogant but he can be a trusted aide.

Alexa just nod when Calyx look at her.

Laurain agree with Calyx's plan.

"Are going back to the land of human?" Laurain ask all of a sudden.

Calyx look at Alexa.

"Going back?" Alexa ask.

"Yes, My lady. " Laurain answered. "Actually we live here at the Academy half a year and half a year at the human land" He explained. "sometimes it depends whether we like to stay long on human land or here at the academy." he added.

"If that so. Why didn't you came in my door step and invite me to come here? I wouldn't have endangered Vince life" Alexa said in disbelief.

The two didn't even move a muscle.

"That's the Golden rule my lady we can't interfere with your interest, unless given a command by Nobles" Laurain said. "There are many of you at the land of humans, you were all given to the door of kind-hearted humans. Then when you started to show your abilities, that is when invitations starts to be sent on your doorstep" he started to explain. "Each one of you are given due to being orphan, you are not one of those but then the only persona of the academy that can adopt you, died, Calyx's mother. That is why you are put in the list of orphan academy people. You are the First Noble Council after all but you need to master your abilities first before..... "

Calyx cut off his words.

"That's enough Laurain, you talk too much." Calyx said calmly.

Laurain pout his lips as if he was a child being scolded.

Phoenix just laughed silently.

Alexa just nod. "If that so, teach me what I need to learn." Alexa said while facing Calyx.

Calyx then walk beside Alex. He then interlock their fingers together.

"I will teach everything I know" he whisper as if it's confidential matter or it is?

The three guys just stand there looking at us intently.

We look at them, which made their gaze divert to somewhere.

"For now let us all have our rest, I know Phoenix and Vince have been roaming the whole academy to investigate, and you Laurain, check your pack if they need something don't be shy to call, then rest you need to regain your strength." Calyx said like a big brother reminding his little ones.

Phoenix and Vince quickly moved, in a swift the two are now out of sight.

Laurain is now starting to check his pack and their youngs.

Calyx and Alexa are now walking towards Calyx's room. Their hands are still interlock.

There are things not yet unleash in the academy, the longer Alexa stayed the more she uncovers her identity.
