"Yna!" Vince called me as the door opened. He just got home from his work and he was holding a letter. "I found it at the door step, even we have a mail box. I don't understand it, maybe you can?" as he handed the letter to me.

I received the letter with gasp as I see it is in Red I never received a red since everything is written in Black old scriptures.
But this? The one who's been sending this must be giving me a warning or something.

I just turned my back to Vince and walked back to my room.

"Yna!! Bakit ba napaka
misteryoso mo?" pagtatakang tanong ni Vince saakin.

Si Vince lang naman yung bestfriend ko na palaging nagtataka kung bakit alam ko lahat ng pangyayari. Maging siya'y di alam kung ano nga ba ako.

Simula noong pitong taong gulang na ako, ni isang bata ay di ako kayang malapitan, ni matitigan ay di nila kayang ibigay sa akin. Nagbago lamang iyon noong lumipat ang pamilya nina Vince Arcelle sa aming lugar kung saan ako ang kaniyang unang binigyang pansin.

"Yna!! Look at me!! Don't just go around with your back a me!" pagalit na sabi ni Vince "Atty. Yna Alexa Mcdell! Answer me! " Dagdag pa niya.

I just walked to my room like no one was in the back when I heard him say those last words.

"Yes Vicinciooooooo, my dear" I heard her mom calling him Vicincio when she's mad, and that is his father's name. That is what I tease him Vicincio.

"You know what? Alexa. What was the email all about? I saw you gasp as you saw it. " pagtatakang tanong niya sa akin dahil siya lang naman yung naka pulot ng sulat mula sa pintuan na nakapangalan sa akin it was written in old format but I can read it.

I opened the door of my room and he also entered. I walked to the old closet "Oh, this" as I open the closet all the letters scattered through the floor. "I have received a lot of it since I was eight, nanay and tatay never deprived me going." I said "They say if I'd like too, this must be the key para malaman ko ang tunay kong pagkatao, pero ayoko dahil wala akong kasama." I added.

"Tell me do you really want to know, about your life before being found in the front door? " he asked seriously. "I will always be your bestfriend no matter what." he added

As I saw his eyes glittered with full of energy, who wanted adventure and knowledge. It moved me and urge me to follow the map in the letter. But, there is this feelings that it wouldn't be like a walk in the park.

"Vince? I don't even know the answer of your question but that moved me." I said with my head down.  "I don't want you be part of this messy or i don't even know what to call it thing of my life. " I added.

I pressed her cheek with my palm as I wanted to see her expression.

"Yna? Do want to live like this? With, this anonymous sender and unknown past?" I asked her with my intent of making her feel her whole life valued.

I loved her ever since my family moved to her town. She's very silent but sweet. I wondered why our peers didn't want to play with her so I decide that I myself to be one of her playmate, then people say she's weirdo but I don't see her like that, she's something special that no one could ever be like her.

As I looked at her I saw a glimpse of smile in her eyes, yet there's a a little worry wanting to conquer.

She opened her mouth "That's is why we are bestfriend. You always support me no matter what." she said as she smile widely.

Here we go again, bestfriend. When will you see my efforts and love. I'm still a bestfriend, we been living together on the same roof but still a bestfriend, I can't be more on that.

She then lay on her bed. Whistling a song that I haven't heard. She really is a maiden, she have beauty and brains, I can't be compared to any of her suitors.

"Vince" pag tawag niya sa akin. "What's on your mind?" she asked. Maybe because I was staring at her intently.

"Nothing, I was just thinking how would it'll go if we go together on what the letter was saying." I said in serious tone.

I saw her eyes in wide shocked as she looked at me, like asking 'really?' question. Do I really look like a hilarious man?

"Do you really want to go with me? " Yna asked like what I said was a joke.

I answered with my left brow raise"Of course." I know I look like a gay but, that's the only way she would believe my words.

" Then pack all the things you need, I guess It's not a walk in the park." she said seriously.

Vince hurriedly step out of my room and went to his room to pack his things. I picked up the easy to carry backpack so we could move easily to where we are going.

I packed ready to eat food packs, portable cooking equipment, hygiene kit, first aid kit, some extra hiking clothes and hammock so we can just put it on tree to tree post and we'll be allert when there's danger.

As I finish packing I notice that the letter in red was glowing, so I opened it and say a gem stone. It is glowing brightly as I drew it's direction near at the old closet. Then I found a velvet box with rose embroidery on the top of it. It is beautiful, I open it and I saw a mini gem stone that fits with the small brittle crack on the gem stone I found in the letter and there my name, written on it. YNA ALEXA MCDELL.

"Yna" I heard Vince call me.

"Yes, Vince" I replied to his call.

"Have you done packing?" he asking as he holds his fully packed things. "What on earth is that? " he asked in shock tone.

"A necklace? Isn't it obvious?" I reply in sarcasm tone.

"Yea I know, but how on earth it is glowing?" he said with a shock tone.

"I guess this will be our guide on our trip to nowhere." I said as I close the velvet box and wore the necklace.

May this thing guide me to the safest route of this nowhere.
