Chapter 10

Scarlett's POV

10:30ish am

"Ah!"

I woke up to someone screaming. It sounded like a girl's scream. At first I thought it was a dream, but I see Starr, Tonya, and Tammy wake up, too.

"What was that?" Tammy said very concerned. She picked up Tinkerbell and put him right beside her.

"I bet you it's Cassandra getting an orgasm while having sex with David," Tonya said. Tammy, Starr, and I laughed. Since Tammy and Tonya shared a bunk Tammy gave her a high-five.

"Okay, that was pretty funny, but they left last night," Starr said while still having a little laughter while saying that.

"Wait, if it's none of us, and Cassandra left. Then who was screaming?" I asked. We all thought for a moment and then ran out of our room to see who was screaming. We were all still in our pajama's.

When we got outside there was two girls, one of them whom was screaming, and two other boys with them whacking something. Right behind us was Brad and Greg.

"What the hell is going on?" Brad said, and he raped his arms around Starr.

"Oh! Sorry, my girl friend here got spooked by a snack. My name is Nathan," he introduced himself to Brad.

"I'm Brad, this is my girlfriend Starr, and these are our friends Scarlett, Tammy, Tonya, and Greg," he introduced us all. I just gave them a little wave.

"Well, this is my girlfriend Abby, and these are our friends Zack, and his girlfriend, Megan, and Cooper," he said introducing his friends. They all looked nice, but I think that Cooper guy was staring at me.

"We're camp counselors at a camp near by. We were just going on a walk. Didn't know people moved in here," Zack said. His girlfriend grabbed his arm. Guessing she's very obsessive girlfriend.

"We were also about to go swimming. Would you like to come?" Abby asked. She looked like a real hipster.

"I'd love, too!" Tonya said happily. She loved swimming.

"Just let us change into our swimming suits, kay?" Greg said. Megan and Zack have us smirks.

"We aren't exactly wearing clothes while we swim," Zack said giggling with Megan. Abby rolled her eyes.

"You're...skinny dipping?" Tammy asked nervously.

"Yep! It's what we do. We young and our bodies look nice!" Megan said excitedly. Her and Nathan took off their clothes and jumped into the nearby lake.

"Yeah! Sweet!" Greg followed them. Of course he'll do anything to see a girl naked.

"Can we just wear our swimming suits?" I asked.

"Yes. Of course. You don't have to be like those crazies," Abby said taking off her clothes revealing her swim suits.

"Oh, Ab, I thought we were going skinny dipping?" Nathan said to Abby. Guessing "Ab" was her nickname.

"I'm not. You can," she then jumped into the lake, and Nathan followed. Now it's just Starr, Brad, Tammy, Tonya, Cooper, and I just standing here.

"Well, I'm gonna go change into my bikini," Tonya said and ran back into the house and Tammy followed.

"You coming?" Starr asked me. Brad was waiting for her to go inside.

"No. I just don't wanna swim right now," I'm very sensitive about my body, so I don't like strangers looking at while I'm half naked. Starr and Brad walked inside, and Cooper smiled at me.

"You don't like swimming?" he asked and took off his shirt right in front of me revealing his abs. Again, feeling really uncomfortable right now.

"I'm sorry, Cooper, but I'm not interested," I dismissed him and sat down on the deck to read my book.

My favorite books to read are Stephen King. I've just started reading Carrie. Which I can sort-of relate to her. Well, just my awkward side. I can be really fun when I'm with my friends, like last night when I poured water on David I felt so happy! Like I broke out of my shell.

"Hey, Scarlett?" I looked up and it was Tammy in her light red swimsuit holding Tinkerbell.

"Yes?"

"Can you keep an eye on Tinkerbell? I don't want her running away," Tammy said handing me her cat. I took Tinkerbell and put him on my lap.

"Of course. Anything for a friend," I said which made Tammy smile and she jumped into the water, which got my legs wet.

I just read my book and Tinkerbell cuddled right up against me. I then heard something behind me. It spooked Tinkerbell away who walked into the house.

"Tinkerbell!"

"Don't worry, the cat is just in the house," I turned around and saw that it was Cooper talking. He smiled at me and then sat down right next to me.

"I thought you were swimming?" I asked. Again, like I said, not interested. Do guys ever take hints? Especially if it's a girl who is still confused about her sexual orientation.

"I was, but then I saw you here being a loner," he laughed and I rolled my eyes,"Look, I bet you, that you think I just want to date you and have sex, but that's not true. I'm not like Nathan and Zack," he then moved closer,"Bur personally, I think you're the prettiest out of your friends." He made me blush. No one else makes me blush besides Starr. Am I bi?

"Um...thanks," I thought for a moment and realized I'd never have a chance with Starr, so why not Cooper? "I'm so sorry about being rude before. How about we start again?" He smiled.

"Okay," he stood up,"Now, tonight. We are getting away from here for a little bit to go on a date. You can even invite you're friends, Starr and Brad, it could be a double date," he said. I'd actually surprisingly would like that, then I thought of another idea.

"Can my sister and her fiancée come, too?" I wanted to get to know my sister even more.

"Of course. It can be a triple date," he kneeled down,"And a chance to get away from my crazy friends," he whispered in my ear. I giggled and he jumped into the lake.

He made me forget about David for a second. He's like ten times better than David. He also kind of hide my feelings for Starr more, too. Well, I think feelings. I'm still very confused.

Maybe I'll have a chance for some romance tonight.
