So there I was. Contemplating on weather or not to kill this girl. It was bad enough she was allegedly banging my mate and now they wanted my help. Ellie was already planning the various ways we could possibly get away with murder. I smirked at the thought. "No, I simply replied. "Why should I risk my life to save either of yours?" I questioned.
"And the lives of the entire pack," Cassidy added.
"Shut your filthy mouth!" I spat, she cowered back in her seat, and I smirked knowing that my Luna command could work even on humans.
"Please Zoe," Jeremy pleaded. I made the biggest mistake of my life staring into his eyes. Those eyes, the ones that smoothed me over the day we met. I cursed silently before agreeing. "On one condition," I sighed, "I get to kill her afterwards," I spat.
"Sure!" Jeremy replied surprising me.
"Jeremy!" Cassidy replied knowing that her life was now on the table.
"Then it's a deal," I smiled ignoring her.

I was currently rocking Syria to sleep and thinking about how much my life had changed since I met Jeremy. I was so normal, I was human, I had a mate who acted like my mate, I was happy, I was engaged, I was getting married, then Alex vanished me from existence, my baby died inside of me, I changed my name to the name she was to have, as soon as I got over my past and finally started to move on, Alex comes and screws my life up even more. A lone tear rolled down my cheek as I shook the memories away.
I hadn't noticed Jeremy come in but I noticed how his eyes flickered with concern when he saw me crying. He cautiously came over to me watching my actions like hawk. He placed a comforting hand on my shoulder and those sparks flew like the Fourth of July. My wolf was happy but she grimaced and snapped at me, "if you're going to let him back in, don't make it too easy," I ignored her knowing that this is exactly what I needed right now and before I knew it I was in a full embrace. That moment was so perfect until Cassie ran in with a positive pregnancy test.
