1. Dandelion

You said I love you,
I thought so too, only if I knew.

Fading into the darkness,
I needed you the most,
But gone were you.

I made it out alive,
I walked with the hope to find you again,
And there I found you holding her hand.
Is that where you vanished?

I thought you were the one for me,
I thought you were my world,
But I was wrong.

It hurts, it pains,
My heart hurts the most,
But I saw your cracks.

Gone were you from my heart,
For better and for good,
I should have seen this coming from the start.

You have broken me apart,
But I will start again.
And just like the dandelion,
I had hope again.

I stopped crying,
Because I wanted to start again.

The meadow of surprises made me strong,
I was stronger than ever.

Now, I had the world,
I always wanted.
And you were not a part of it,
For better and for good.

I was on the zenith,
Admiring my world.
And then you came, weeping and shedding false tears,
False, just like your promises.

You said she meant nothing,
Begging me to take you back.
But I wasn't going to be wrong again,
I wasn't going to be a fool again.

Just so you know,
I was never going to spare you a glance again.

I was the uncrowned Queen of my world,
I was the dandelion, who started again,
For better and for good.

I fell in love again,
But this time with myself.
For better and for good.
