<Chapter 6: Growing Close>
I groaned as we arrived in Chicago.
I woke up here when I died and came back from hell.
I silently followed Klaus and Stefan to a bar where the three of us met a witch I met 17 years ago. How?
Stefan and I gawked at her.
"Do you know Greta here?" Klaus asked me and I walked to Greta who just smiled at my antiques.
"Yes, Alexan-" "We've met." I cut her off earning a look from Klaus.
Greta told Klaus that we needed his sister Rebekah. He wanted to leave and I wanted to stay. Two alpha's, different directions. We came to an deal though. I was not to leave the bar at any costs.
"So you've changed Angel." she said, naming me by the old nickname.
"Yeah, I'm the Angelwolf with demon blood." I smiled sadly at her.
"So that's why you can Klaus are constantly at each others throats." she asked and I furrowed my brows. "You're both alpha's, you could even have the potential to be his perfect Luna." she suggested smiling.
"No, no, no." I laughed. I need a drink after that so I ordered a beer, then 13.. still wasn't drunk enough.
"Let me read your palm Alex." she asked and I reculantly gave my palm over.
"I see..." she trailed off.
"Darkness, two symbols." she did not continue as her hand burnt. The angel part of me fought against witches often.
"Can I see your shoulder?" She asked and I nodded, showing her the tattoo I knew Dean, Sam and I shared.
"You and I both know that's not what I meant." she said and I turned around and lifting my shirt, revealing the mark burnt into my shoulder blade.
I then pulled it back. Klaus came to get me and I walked behind him walking right into a tall male.
"Oh for fucks sake, watch where your-going." I said standing up.
I looked up and saw Sam, how'd they find me so quickly?
"Alex?" he whispered and my eyes flashed involuntarily.
"Don't follow me." I growled and ran to catch up with Klaus.
My heart was fast, I couldn't breathe. I hated feeling this anxious. Why were they here?
"Alex?" Klaus whispered, placing a hand over my shoulder. Somehow making me relax and not tense up.
I looked up at him and sighed.
"I know why your hybrids aren't working." I said, trying to cover up the anxiety attack I was about to have.
"Continue." he stated, a mad edge to his voice even though it was not directed at me.
"One word phrase, Human-doppelbitch." I growled.
"Let's go then." he smirked and I nodded.
I was met with Rebekah. She seemed to like me, I wasn't fake nor was I girly but that she didn't care for. I did growl at everyone who looked at her wrongly, I somehow felt protective of her. What the hell was happening to me.
We stopped and my phone rang. "Can I take this?... without being eavesdropped on?" I asked and the three vampires nodded.
I stayed outside for the time being.
"Alex?"
"Stiles!" I answered happily.
"Yeah, hey. I uh wanted you too know that their's a dead pool over here, again..." he trailed off.
