The obsessed prince wants to make me the heroine

Today is the last day of our journey. Lynx estimates we might reach there by nighttime. Honestly, I can't get what I saw out of my mind.

I saw both.....
I can't even say it without screaming internally. I know I look calm right now but I am completely fangirling. I was about to get out, then I saw Lynx and Mary hug and kiss.

I wasn't like an in-the-moment thing, he kissed her like it was natural. Like he had done it plenty of times. Maybe that is why Lynx doesn't have a girlfriend. Because he is secretly dating Mary. Now it makes sense why he is always checking up so often. I am so happy for them. Even though I got scolded for going out alone.

A couple of hours later

I feel someone lightly tap me.

" Diana, Diana we're here," Mary says

I seem to have dozed off. I get out of the carriage and in front of me, I see a big Castle. I look in amazement, I might still be asleep. I rub my eyes and pinch myself to make sure I am not imagining things.

As the doors open, a line of people in maids and Butler uniforms all say in unison

" Welcome back master, Madam"

In the center, an old man with gray hair and little glass comes upfront and says " Welcome back, you are later than we thought you would be."

" We were a little held up," he says looking down at me. I look away and smile awkwardly.

" Well your rooms have been fixed up," he says, he claps his hands and two men carry our luggage upstairs.

Lynx ended up walking me to my room. This was awkward because we both aren't good at communicating. We stop at a door, I assumed it was my room and I say " this seems to be my stop"

" yeah," he says back

He looks at me and just stands there, after a while, he rubs my head " you should be careful next time, I was worried" he says. Then he turned around and left.

I get into my room, go into the bathroom. After my bath, I get into my PJs which is a long white gown. I rest on my bed, and before I know it I drift into sleep. 

Next day

I am having afternoon tea in the garden. In the side of my eyes, I notice Lynx coming by. He stops in front of me and rubs my head. I look up at him

" what do you want?" I ask

" Nothing can't I come see my little sis"  he answers back

He takes the seat across from me. Mary poured him tea.

" Thanks," he says

" well a letter came from the castle, we will be meeting the royal family tomorrow"

I stop and stare at him.

" Are you being serious right now"

" yeah why would I be joking"

I get up and grab the paper he is looking over. It read

Hope you are having a great week and your journey was not too stressful. You are invited to the royal palace as the guest of the king and prince.
