Chapter 9: Kill The Past

A month after the fight at the hideout several members from both sides finds themselves in a weird place. It felt weird but familiar.

Mikazuki's POV

As I slowly opened my eyes I looked around to see Shelle, Seryu, and Wave looking at me. "Are you finally away dumbass?" Seryu said as she poked me on the cheek. I responded as I swatted her hand away from me "yeah yeah and what are you doing at our hideout?" Both Wave and Shelle looked at each other then back at me. "That's the point we aren't at the hideout we're in some kind of cabin" Shelle spoke up and looked around to see a pair of pistols that looked exactly like my own.

Shelle's POV

I walked over and picked up the pistols "Aren't these pistols yours Mikazuki" He took a look at them and looked around room as a cold frightening look appeared on his face. Wave patted Mikazuki on his back and said "is everything ok man you look like you seen a ghost?" Mikazuki shooked his head as he spoke "this is the cabin I stayed in after I left the capital." Seryu eyes widen as she grabbed Mikazuki by his collar and started shooked him violently "fess up what kinda prank are you pulling on us hmm?" Wave and I tried to pull Seryu off of him.

A moment after they successfully pulled Seryu off of Mikazuki the space around the cabin started to turn pitch black as a younger version of Esdeath stood outside gently knocking at the door. Mikazuki jumped a bit as he signaled the others to hide somewhere.

Seryu's POV

We hid and watched the young Esdeath as she stepped in and looked around a bit. She walked over to where the pistols were and picked one up then tried to fire it but nothing came out. I looked puzzled and walked over to tap her on the shoulder. "So this is what you looked like as a child" as I said as my hand with straight thought her shoulder. Mikazuki spoked "she's just a fragment of my imagination..." as he pulled on my ear a bit. Wave watched as Esdeath put the pistol down as a younger verson of Mikazuki walked in and stared her down. They stood quietly before their auras filled the room at a rapid pace.

When the two charged at each other the 4 was awoken from their real slumbers in their rooms. Mikazuki sighed as he looked at the mirror to see the his right eye. That was the day he lost his right eye. The beast's spirit in the imperial arms restored his right eye as a contract between them. Shelle though a bit and decides to keep this from the others until right time. Wave and Seryu confronted Esdeath which lead to them learning nothing about that day. After that day they kept the that event in the back of their minds as they continued with their lives wondering what happened between him and Esdeath.

God I'm sorry for the long wait. I just needed to clear my mind and soul from everything that's happening. Now I'm ok and I hope everyone is doing well during this. Well it's time to say farewell again and I'll promise you won't have to wait another long time for the next chapter.
