Chapter 7: Reunion Pt. 2

Everyone in the base got ready for the Esdeath's attack while Kristen give her the signal for how many people was currently at the hideout.

Kristen's POV

She ran back in and sighs. "They should be here in the next 15 minutes or so." Mine looked over at me then Mikazuki and said "are you sure we can trust her dude cause this doesn't feel right." Mikazuki stood up "she hasn't betrayed me yet and she was one of the reasons I escaped the capital in the first place." I looked over at Mine and said "if I wanted to betray him I would have done it years ago cause I knew where he laid low" while reaching for my sword.

Mikazuki's POV

I darted over to Kirsten and kicked her out the window "You should get going before ice empress makes it here." She landed gracefully on her feet, nods, and ran to meet Esdeath. "Now Akame stay away from Esdeath you too Tatsumi" I said while putting on a mask. Both Akame and Tatsumi asked why. I looked over at them and sighs a little "Akame I wanna take her on myself and Tatsumi wouldn't last 3 minutes with her." Mine and Sheele looked at them and giggles quietly. I walked up to my room and sat there waiting for Esdeath and her group to start their attack.

Esdeath's POV

I look at the door of the base and sighs. "Too bad I have to burn this place to the ground it could make the best vacation spot." Kristen looks at me says "what about we try to not burn it down and use it as like a training camp for people who think they can best us in combat." I noded and thinks a bit "that's actually a good idea." I opened the door to see Mine and Leone fighting over a cupcake. Mine glared at me as Leone quickly ate the cupcake and pounces at Kristen. I pulled her out the way and sighs "just use your imperial arm already and that's an order"

Kristen's POV

I rolled my eyes and pulled out my imperial arm once Mine and Leone saw it they froze as the screamed for the others. Bulat ran in and looked at then said "so that is Adayusu how did you get your hands on it?" I signed and folded it "I saw the battle between your people and it's original user it was left behind so I took the opportunity to hide it from the minister..." Before I could finish Mikazuki came downstairs and randomly shot at Esdeath. Esdeath made a shield out of ice and glares at him then said "Oh this is a pleasant turn of events to see my brother here with the enemy." Mikazuki growled and said "shut up already you are not family to me anymore..." he looked over at Seryu and sighs "Oh you again." Seryu kept her poker face on but was still scared of their last encounter.

I have returned from falling off the face of the earth. I'm gonna try to get back in the mood of writing this but see you all until then.
