Chapter 6: Reunion Pt. 1

A week pased after Mikazuki and Tatsumi finshed their mission and the other members decided to throw them a party to congratulate them

Mikazuki's POV

I sat on the window seal and watched Leone and Mine yelling at each other. Sheele walked over and hands me a cupcake. "Give yourself another week and you'll get use to them fighting" she said with a warm smile. I smiled a bit and said "It's not that I have a bad feeling about tonight." She looks me in the eye "Why...?" I shook my head "Forget it just enjoy yourself" I said. Sheele got up and walks back over to Mine and Leone to calm them down.

Later that night around midnight

Esdeath's POV

I stood on the cliff where I could see Night Raid's base and smirks. Then looks back at Kristen "Nice work on finding Night Raid's base." Kristen bows "You're welcome and can I go in first to see how many people are inside?" She looked up at me and I said "Go for it but signal us when your finished." Kristen nods "as you wish captain" and runs to the base.

Kristen's POV

I hurried to the base and pushes the door open. Mikazuki and Sheele looked over at me from their game of cards while everyone else draws their weapons at me. "Whoa I'm harmless tell them Mikazuki" I said as I raised my hands up. Mikazuki put down his cards and sighs "Guys this is my contact in the empire and a dear friend of mine." Everyone lower their weapons as I sighed and sat down. "Prepare for battle... Esdeath isn't that far from here and she has some of the top soldiers in the entire empire with her." Mikazuki looks at me and grabs his pistols "I've been waiting to see her again" he said as he got ready for battle.

Sorry this took so long some life events popped up outta nowhere and slapped me in the face. I'm trying to work out an update schedule that will work for me but until then I'll post chapters when I can. I hope you all are staying safe during this pandemic. I wish all of you good luck
