Chapter 12

"You did what?!" Megumi exclaimed with a look of anger, pissed at the news. "Tona mayo! Mustard leaf..." Toge also exclaimed, basically cussing out the teacher, while feeling worried for (Y/n). "Hey now, I didn't want him joining either, but he and Yuji went without me noticing" Satoru reasoned with a guilty look.

Currently, the teacher is being bombarded not only by the two first years but most of the second years. "Well, he better come back unharmed!" Nobara exclaimed while pointing at Satoru accusingly. "What if he gets into trouble?" Maki muttered to herself with a contemplated look.

This instantly silenced the bickering group, now staring at Maki like she's stupid. "Tuna mayo" Toge spoke up, only having a select few understanding what he said. "I think it was... Nanami and Itadori who are with him" Megumi answered with a tilted frown.

"I trust Nanami, he should protect (Y/n)" Satoru said with a confident look, only for it to slightly falter. "They also have... Him" Maki pointed out with a look of disgust. The mood instantly dropped, and multiple mixed feelings swept through them. They'll just have to wait for (Y/n) to come back to them, hopefully unharmed.

Yuji's face scrunched into a glare, not liking that Junpei specifically said (Y/n)'s name. Although, he does agree, that (Y/n) shouldn't be here fighting. But, he doesn't want someone else trying to protect him when he can do it! He's starting to hate this kid. "I refuse, I will battle even if my life depends on it" (Y/n) spoke without hesitance.

Yuji slightly cursed himself for ignoring that phone call from Nanami, knowing the man would've prevented them from going. Even Ijichi tried preventing them from going in! He just had to rush in, trying to be the "hero of the day" in front of his crush, only for his crush to be caught up in the chaos. He has some hope that Nanami will join them shortly, and finish this mission to go home.

"Why... Why are you stopping me (Y/n)?! Why rescue these lowlives from being murdered, when you're a murderer yourself?!" Junpei asked in anger. Something had seemed to snap inside Yuji's brain, marking it the final straw, as all morals had flown out the window.

In an instant, Yuji had punched Junpei in the face, sending him to the ground. "Don't ever call (Y/n) that!" Yuji said in a dark tone as he glared down at Junpei. Frightened, Junpei quickly got up and ran for it, while Yuji quickly followed behind him. "Oh, no you don't! Get back here!" Yuji yelled as he ran after the male, unintentionally forgetting about (Y/n), who followed silently behind them.

They ran throughout the school building, Junpei's only protection is his Shikigami. "Moondrapes!" Junpei called out as the Shikigami blocked Yuji's punch. Though, despite blocking it, Junpei still skids backward due to the force of the punch. (Y/n) stayed silent in the shadows, waiting to either save Yuji from any attack or find Junpei's weak point.

"I'll say it one more time, stay out of this Jujutsu Sorcerer, it's none of your business," Junpei said as he readied an attack. "I don't care! It became my business when you called (Y/n) a murderer!" Yuji exclaimed as he also readied an attack while glaring at Junpei.

"You defend that monster? You're no better than the rest of these scum!" Junpei exclaimed with a deep scowl on his face. He then sent made his Shikigami wrap its tentacles around Yuji, who didn't anticipate the attack fast enough. But, he felt his hood get pulled backward, sending him away from the attack.

He watched in horror as (Y/n) is engulfed in the weird substance that the Shikigamir sent out. "(Y/n)!" Yuji yelled out, instantly placing his hands against the substance. "Huh, I did not expect him to save you, no matter, he was going to die anyway," Junpei said calmly from the other side of the substance.

"You bastard..." Yuji mumbled out through gritted teeth, unsure how to save (Y/n). "What gives you the right to protect him? He's nothing but a murderer. Someone who killed their own parents shouldn't be allowed to live" Junpei reasoned while glaring at the substance that (Y/n)'s trapped in.
