Aoi Todo Ending

The breeze made (Y/n)'s hair flutter, with the bright sun making his figure glow. Todo tried to reach out to him, only to remember his hand is missing. "Todo... Earth to Todo! Todo!" Yuji's voice broke him out of his trance, averting his attention to his brother. "Yes? What do you need, my brother?" Todo asked, having forgotten their previous conversation.

"You weren't listening to a thing I said..." Yuji murmured while letting out a deep sigh. "I was telling you about how I'm going to ask him out," Yuji said while gesturing to (Y/n). "Oh..." Todo trailed off, looking quite downhearted and very conflicted. "I'm kidding! I know you have your eye on him. Just make your move already, bro" Yuji encouraged as he playfully pushed Todo's shoulder.

"Really? Man! You really are the best!" Todo exclaimed as he engulfed Yuji in a bear hug. "I'm going to ask him out now! Wish me luck, brother!" Todo said as he abruptly stood up. Not without letting Yuji go, of course, and marched his way towards (Y/n)'s direction. When he placed his hand on his crush's shoulder, his wide smile faltered into one of horror.

(Y/n)'s head slowly turned around to look at him, with blood running down his eyes and mouth. "YeSss?" (Y/n) hissed out, only to instantly snap back to normal. With a few blinks, Todo shook his head, making sure he was still sane, only to find (Y/n) innocently looking up at him. "Are you alright?" (Y/n) asked with a cute tilt of his head, oblivious to Todo's internal suffering.

"I think so..." Todo trailed off as he glanced back at his brother and the school. Only to find the entire school is destroyed, lit up in flamed, and crumbled to the ground. His brother was suffering on the floor, covered in his own blood, slowly reaching out to him for help. "No... No! Brother!" Todo called as he ran towards him, only for Yuji to get farther and farther.

"Todo... Todo..." Someone called, but to Todo, it sounded like a call for help. "Hold on! Don't you die on me!" Todo called, as slowly, his vision was engulfed by darkness. With a gasp, Todo jolted out of a bed, with his usable hand stretched out, almost as if he was reaching for someone. Quickly, he whipped his head around, only to realize he was at Jujutsu Tech's nurse's office, with Shoko looking at him with her normal blank look.

"Some dream you had there, huh?" Shoko asked casually while watching Todo frantically figure out his surroundings. "Where's (Y/n)? My brother too?" Todo asked hastily. "Dunno, last I heard, they're being executed by Yuta Okkotsu, but that was about a week ago. Either way, you should rest more, you're not fully healed" Shoko said as she wrote down something on a clipboard.

"Executed...?" Todo murmured, as the news hit him hard, not wanting to believe the two people he love are gone. Without a word, he got up, thankfully he has pants on. "Hey, where are you going?" Shoko asked as she watched Todo leave the clinic, but did not attempt to go after him. With a sigh, she shook her head, most likely this is a regular thing for Todo to do.

Being a stubborn person, Todo had gone out to look for Yuji and (Y/n). Not knowing where they would be and if they're alive, he hopes that he can save at least one of them. He will go to the ends of the earth for the two, even if it means killing himself if he finds that they are truly dead. Maybe it would've been better that he stayed asleep, forever dreaming about being with his two buddies, than face harsh reality.
