"No problem," Pewdie says, setting me back on Dr. Becker's desk.

"Who is this?" Dr. Becker asks, leaning in closer to me. I can feel his warm breath.

"This, is Stephano. I take him everywhere." Pewdie replies, smiling cheerfully. Dr. Becker's stare is making me more uncomfortable every second.

"Hmm...." Dr. Becker replies, examining me quite closely. He strokes his chin and adjusts his glasses. "What if I can make you a deal?"

"A deal? Of what sort?" Pewdie replies. I'm not sure what Dr. Becker is trying to get to, but it does not sound pleasing to me.

"I'm working on a new serum. It gets people out of this castle. I think I have nearly completed it, but I need to make sure." Dr. Becker starts. I don't believe him for one second. There is no way out of this castle, and everyone knows it.

Except for Pewdie. We can't break news to him that he's trapped here, he'll be heartbroken. So we've been keeping it a secret.

"Would you be willing to try out the serum? The only side effect is whatever inanimate object is also subjected to the serum becomes flesh. This can be a problem if the wrong person gets their hands on it." Dr. Becker continues.

Pewdie's eyes open wider. I can tell he's willing to try, and he wants to take something with him. I'm not so sure though. What if Dr. Becker is lying? He could be working for the barrels.

"Sure. I'll definitely try it! But am I allowed to take a friend or two?" Pewdie asks in his silly tone. Dr. Becker nods. This is not going to end well, I can tell.

"Meet me back here in an hour, and I'll have the serum ready. Deal?" Dr. Becker outstretches his hand. Pewdie shakes it gratefully.

"Deal." Pewdie finishes. Dr. Becker leans back in his chair, and Pewdie gets up. He picks me up and heads out the door.

I wish I could speak. If I could, I would warn Pewdie. I know something's up with Dr. Becker. Pewdie needs to realize this.

"Who should we take with us, Stephano?" Pewdie asks me. I know I don't like this plan, but some part inside of me is grateful Pewdie is taking me with him. "I know!"

Pewdie rushes down the corridor, which makes him shake me rapidly. He stops and turns into a room, which has a desk and chair in it.

"Mr. Chair!" Pewdie shouts with happiness. He picks up the chair and skips back down the corridor.

"Wait. Dr. Becker said in an hour. What shall we do until then?" Pewdie says. He looks around the room. "We could rest until then. I am kind of tired." he says, setting Mr. Chair down. He sets me on a table, and lays in a bed he found in a nearby room.

I guess resting maybe was a good idea, because I dozed off as well.
