It was the early hours of the morning and my eyes had more or less just fluttered open and had begun to adjust to the light streaming in through the curtains. Pair this sensation with the sound of Baloo's big paws padding across the floors as he made his way into the bedroom and you had a morning I would never grow tired of. Well almost, Kai was getting ready for training which meant I was incredibly free for the majority of the morning and a part of the afternoon before he would return- if and only if he didn't have media responsibilities today. I slid my feet into my slippers making my way onto the landing to see Kai at the bottom of the stairs lacing up his shoes. I made my way down the staircase the sound of my slippers notifying him that I was right behind him. And with that he turned to face me, a big smile on his face. "Good morning my love, did I wake you?" he asked wrapping his arm around my lower back and placing a kiss on my temple. I shook my head in response "mixture of the light and our big baby" I laughed to him pulling him closer ever so slightly. "Don't you need to get going" I mumbled into the nape of his neck before breaking from his embrace. He glanced down at his phone, eyes wide before giving me a quick kiss and disappearing out of the front door calling out his farewells as he did.

The second he was fully gone, I made my way into the kitchen deciding to make myself breakfast and a coffee. Having a brief tidy as the kettle boiled before putting slices of bread into the toaster. I took out an avocado before removing the toast from the toaster. Eventually covering both slices with avocado, chilli and baby tomatoes. I poured the boiling water into my glass jar, which you probably aren't meant to do but the convenience of it was too nice for me to be all that bothered. Plate and cup in hand I made my way into the living room sitting on the sofa, legs tucked up and a very sleepy Baloo to the side of me. The tv became background noise pretty quickly as I ate and drank before tidying the rest of the kitchen putting everything I used away.

With this I heard my phone ringing, or atleast I thought I did. And I was proven right the second I made it up the stairs to mine and Kai's room finding my phone in the middle of the duvet. My hands grasped it just as the call came off the screen, which came was typical. And that's when a ping ringed throughout the room signifying a message.

I blinked multiple times at the messages sat right before my eyes. Taking in the contents of the conversation I had just had with Kai. A slight gasp slipped out past my lips and I found my fingers typing rapidly sending Meel a partial screenshot from the conversation I had just had with Kai, asking if she knew anything. Of course she didn't because we'd believed Anna was just working or studying and instead she was really on a night time adventure with Mason. And this was huge for Anna. Since we'd met at freshers in first year we'd forever tried to convince her to just give things a try should it come naturally to her. Knowing her ability to be extremely stubborn the girl never caved in too easily on that part. Anything else? We could have her cave in within minutes. I felt almost proud of her. Pushing herself out there. Although I was desperate for the details from her mouth directly. Or atleast more than the vague explanation Kai had offered.

I was far far too excited to have organised this whole girly day and night out. I think Mee knew my motivation for it deep down but never questioned it with Anna being in the group. Not that I minded because that way she'd take less convincing to spend time with us. And that was the final kick I needed motivation wise to have myself up and ready. Laying out pyjamas before I left out ready for my drunk self when she made her return. A quick coffee stop later and I was on the tube for all of two minutes before making the short walk to the girls apartment pressing the buzzer to be let in as I didn't have a fob.

Greeted by the two girls with big smiles on their faces I walked in through the door putting down everything I was carrying embracing both of them briefly. "Happy catch up day" I said. Mocking a cheers with our coffee cups that the girls were quick to copy. Each of us laughing slightly at how ridiculous and childish we probably seemed. The day was about to become fairly interesting. And tonight? Was guaranteed to be messy.
