All of my classes remained the same, nothing had really changed for me, well nothing had changed for anyone else, barely anybody knew about the quest I had been charged with, so why would anything change. I wasn't sure why, but in my head, I imagined all my classes being changed to help me better complete my mission, but if no one except my friends knew about it, then how exactly would that happen?

While I had assumed all of my classes stayed the same, I had been wrong about one of them, GYM was not the same at all, as soon as I stepped into the training room all eyes were on me. "Karina! Glad to see you made it back after Friday, however you will no longer be training with this class." Professor Arcane's voice boomed so loud across the large room that I think it might have made my ears rings, or maybe it was the shock of that statement.

Was I getting kicked out for running away at the end of Friday's class? I hoped not, this was one of the classes that would help me tremendously, I needed all the knowledge I could get about the elements, who knew what kind of threats I would have to face in mission to free Sira. "I'm sorry sir? I apologize for running out of class the other day, I promise it won't happen again." The other students found this entire situation hilarious if their snickers were anything to go by.

"It has everything to do with what happened in our last class, I cannot have someone like you in this class, the fact that you even entered this class to begin with astonishes me." Oh wow, alright, had Professor Arcane suddenly become a Sira hater, it sure seemed like it, and my classmates couldn't seem to get enough of me getting humiliated by the teacher. "You are far too good to be in a first-year class. I would move you straight to the second-year class, but I've been informed that that will conflict with too many of your other classes, so you will be getting private tutoring from my second-best student in dueling, though he has yet to try against any other schools, he is a top student in my fourth-year class." I glance around confused, he couldn't be talking about Ezekiel, he was fifth year, and as far as I knew the best dueler at this school, but there was no one else in here.

A door swings opens and hits the wall harshly, but Professor Arcane doesn't get angry at the late arrival, instead he smiles widely, looking very pleased, a bit unnerving on the normally grouchy professor in truth. "Ah! Kaiden! Glad to see you got my note. This is Karinna Valdis, you will be training her in weaponry." I turn around and see the beast of a man standing by the door, which was slowly swinging shut, he was massive, larger even then Professor Arcane, which was strange to see, because he was huge. This guy was easily over six feet tall, maybe even seven, though I wasn't quite sure, I think I only reached just below his chest, if I had to train with him every other day, I was definitely going to get embarrassed about my height.

I think it would take three of me to match his width, I narrow my eyes at him, and reconsider, more like two and a half, I think. No wonder he was the second-best dueler, I bet he didn't even need to use magic or weapons in a duel, he could probably crush his opponent with a simple punch. While I had been looking over him, he had been taking his time assessing me as well, but by the expression on his face, he found me lacking, I really couldn't deal with any more asshole teachers, I already had to deal with Aspen and Professor Damis, or as I prefer Professor Dumbass, wasn't the most clever name for sure, but it made me feel better to call her that in my head.

"She's a twig, can she even lift a sword? Your note said I would get the chance to duel Ezekiel for doing this as well as get the credits for the year, but I am not sure she is worth the amount of effort I'll have to put into training her." His voice was deep and loud, did the floor shake when he spoke, I wasn't sure, but Professor Arcane seemed to find his words hilarious, instead of the offending insults they were.

"Now, now, she almost beat Ezekiel in a duel, elements only, but still, she has potential, surely you can look past her Sira looks and work with the warrior hiding behind all that allure." I think Professor Arcane just called me pretty, but I'm also pretty sure he meant it as an insult and not a compliment, I was also pretty sure that I was getting fed up of being spoken about like I wasn't there, and getting insulted in front of the entire class.
