I'd been to lake parties before, but I don't think I had ever imagined a lake party like this, it was crazy, but in a good way. It seemed like being outside of the academy had given the other students the chance to showcase their abilities. I could see sphere's of barely discernable air surrounding students as they cartwheeled and spun mid-air, the bubble of air seemed to make it so gravity didn't affect them as much.

I watch another student jump from one of the tallest branches of a tree next to the lake and a slide made of water catches them and swirls them in loops and spins like a water slide, but one made only out of water alone. There was this huge bonfire and the chosen of Nithene were having fun pulling shapes from the flames, a slithering serpent there, a roaring dragon, a regal deer, they changed the color of the fire depending on their choice.

The chosen of Dagda were have plants climb up trees and flowers blossom, glowing with a soft light and sending wonderful smelling pollen into the air, pollen that shimmered and made it seem as if the very air sparkled with magic, I felt something touch my ear and startled in surprise, turning around to see a plant slowly descend back into the ground but the weight on my ear remained, I touched it softly, feeling the soft petals of a flower, I raise an eyebrow at Kaiden but he shrugs giving me a soft smile. "I thought you'd look pretty with a flower on your ear, so I made one for you." I lean up to kiss him gently on the cheek, leaving the flower in place, this is what I thought this place would be, full of magic and wonder, not the restricted magic to classroom settings they had at the academy.

It wasn't exactly forbidden, but it was strongly discouraged to practice your magic outside of your branch or classes. People surfaced from swimming in the lake, and air bubbles popped, showing they had been swimming with air still around them. Orbs of light floated through the sky, giving a soft glow to the darkening forest and clearing around the lake, I watched some of the chosen of Zohar, slowly form glass animals, that moved around and acted like the real thing, all the while having a soft glow inside them. I found some of my fellow Sira chosen standing together, with a crowd of people around them, telling them something and they nodded, before touching them, I watched in awe as they changed their hair color and or length with ease, giving them pointed ears, or moving tattoos that glowed or remained still. It was beautiful, I had never thought to use our illusion magic like that, there was soft music playing, but it wasn't formal at all.

It was fast paced, with flutes and fiddles, folksy even, it was fun, all this mingling together, for once everyone seemed to set aside some of their prejudice for Sira branch and everyone was just content to have fun with everyone. We could all access a little bit of each of the elements, but we were limited on what we could do with them, seeing everyone helping someone else when they wanted to do something they weren't capable of, it was amazing. I took a step and gasped as my foot got stuck on air, very slowly I was floating up in the sky, I glanced down and scowled lightly at Thane's amused face, but soon even my irritation at being surprised by it faded.

It was amazing, like I was flying, I spun in a circle, loving the view around me, the last remaining sunlight still colouring the clouds with beautiful shades of pinks, reds, yellows, and purples. Butterflies made of fire swirled around me in a swarm, so many different colors, it was beautiful, and then they all slowly burst into mini fireworks, taking my breath away. A ball of light hovered in front of me, holding my attention, I watched as a head slowly formed, and wings stretched out, a bird glowing a soft silver took shape before me, a snake clutched in its, grasp, I watched in awe as shadows drifted up from beneath them, and they absorbed it, the light glowing off them dimming, as an illusion took shape to make them look real, the snake slid out of the bird's grasp, landing on the hand I didn't even was reaching out.

It twined around my arm, making my own Sira branch markings fade away in its wake under an illusion, I watched a small snow white wolf take shape on my arm, a black crescent moon on her forehead, her purple eyes glowing out at me, she tilted her head to look at me, and then leapt off my arm, taking shape before me, she danced in the air, bringing a smile to my face, I watched her head look behind her and five black wolves chased after her, each having different colored eyes and a different white mark on their forehead, a flower, a sun, a raindrop, a gust of wind, I knew what this was, this was my men showing affection for me in a way I didn't even know existed.
